Yes she is and I ain't even mad! It is better for her conscience and mental health.

Her fanbase have become way too toxic and rude. Gaga is not your servant or slave. Just because you were there since the beginning, doesn't mean you  are given the audacity to tell her what to do, or scold her for not doing the artistic direction you wanted.

Voicing your dissapointment is one thing, and it can be done politely. And being mean and rude is another which many of people in the fanbase does. And is a choice, honestly truly.

There is no denying that she has distanced herself from fans for sure however perhaps that's for the better. 

I feel like as much as fans were getting obsessed with Gaga she was also sort of getting obsessed with her own fans. I think that's part of the reason why when her fans started leaving in the dozens it hurt her a lot because she really gave her heart to her fans and when she saw MANY fans turn their backs during the AP era she took it really personally and hard (imo). I prefer her being a little distant for her own sake tbh.
