Meet Declan McKenna

@Sycamore you've inspired me to introduce some new music to the world 

I want you all to meet Declan McKenna, the 17-year old musical talent from the UK that'll give you Radiohead-Morrisey-the-Cure teas. He writes all his own songs and usually performs all his own instruments. And he's able to handle such complex topics in his songs without having cheesy lyrics 

This is his very first single (which he self-released) called "Brazil", and it's about the FIFA corruption scandal, of all things 

Here's him performing the song live on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert (this was actually how I discovered him)

And here's his second single called "Paracetamol", which discusses how transgender teenagers are misrepresented in the media 

I'm telling you, he's going to be the next big thing
