https://www.aarp.org/entertainment/celebrities/info-2021/tony-bennett-alzheimers.html/ I won’t post the whole article as it’s a long one, but a really wonderful (though sad) article. Main thing is that Tony has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and actually got diagnosed 5 years ago. There’s quite a lot about Gaga. Music-wise, this may be of interest: In 2014 Lady Gaga and Tony recorded Cheek to Cheek, an album of standards that debuted at number one on Billboard's Top 200 pop and rock chart — the kind of intergenerational success that simply cannot be ignored. Soon, a follow-up was being discussed. The songs were recorded, in widely spaced sessions, between 2018 and early 2020. After a number of delays, owing to Gaga's burgeoning movie-stardom (in A Star Is Born) and solo-recording career (including the release of her recent LPs Joanne and Chromatica) — to say nothing of the COVID-19 pandemic — the collaboration is finally being prepared for release this spring. Tony was already showing clear signs of the disease, Susan said, when he and Gaga started recording the new LP at New York's Electric Lady Studios two years after his diagnosis. Indeed, Susan was not entirely sure that Tony was up to the task. “We'll try,” she recalled telling Danny. “That's all I can tell you. We'll try."

How this Marine captain got selected to escort Lady Gaga during the presidential inauguration The original plan was to have Lady Gaga walk to the podium herself, but when the inauguration organizers found out the size of the dress the award-winning artist was planning on wearing, a last minute audible was called, Campbell told Marine Corps Times on Wednesday. “I was truly impressed with how genuine, she was while we were inside,” Campbell said, noting that she thanked every member of the Capitol Police they saw as he escorted her to the podium. Campbell said he was shocked at how nervous Lady Gaga was to perform, despite the numerous concert tours and shows she had performed at in the past. “She told us inside that this was perhaps the biggest day of her life, and that she really wanted to sing for all Americans,” Campbell said. https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/your-marine-corps/2021/02/03/meet-the-marine-who-escorted-lady-gaga-during-the-presidential-inauguration/

So sad to hear this but Tony is 94 years old and it’s only natural that his health is decreasing.. He has a long life and beautiful legacy behind him. Even tho I am not fan of jazz I am really glad Gaga will get to release another album with him because this man is one of the reasons she is still doing music.

Popular Instagram account @deuxmoi (known for spilling celebrity tea) posted a tip about Gaga tonight. While usually I wouldn't bat an eye, this account spilled some details on the Armie Hammer scandal before it surfaced, as well as tons of movie/tv news, and relies heavily on insiders who work in the industry. Furthermore, two others confirmed the tip. Obviously, take this with a grain of salt, but..... Chromatica II? LG7? Fake news? Who knows!

Let this be a lesson learned to ALL of you who constantly complain that she isn't promoting an album - this sh*t can't happen anymore. we all need to RESPECT Gaga and her choices even if we don't know every single detail that's going on behind the scenes. I get we all need some form of escapism for chromatica etc but can we please take a step back and realise we're still in the middle of a pandemic?? This virus is happening in real time and every single person is being affected by it including Gaga herself. So can we collectively as a fanbase be more kind towards Gaga instead of constantly demanding content and wait until this is all over. This woman has given us SO much for the past 10+ years, we shouldn't be acting like literal monsters - it's just not right especially for someone we all love and admire so deeply.

Being an “accessible diva” got her a lot of backlash. You know what the reality is? When she got close to her fans on social media, she realized a lot of people online are rotten. I don’t blame her for taking several steps back.

Hey, guys, I want to say, I've been part of this fanbase since the begining, so I was really used to Gaga being kind, loving, always sharing a lot of us, so I don't recognize the Gaga we had during the COVID era. Oh, she can't perform because we're living an epidemic crisis you might say, but that's not what I am complaining about. The Gaga I knew back then would never not wish us a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays or say something nice on new years eve. I am not talking about performances, Gaga didn't even coment about how sad she was about Sophie, they were both pretty close, I know everyone deals with grief in a different way, but Gaga was always so kind and warm, I don't recognize this person she became, so distant and out of touch, she was always an "accessible diva" showing us her love basking us with her love and supportive messages. The only times we know Gaga exists is when she is doing a promoted ad on her Insta/Twitter. I guess the rumours that she would release a last pop album and leave us for good were true. I miss the old times. Sorry if someone is offended by what I said, but I needed to vent it.

Stefani Germanotta is proud to be an Italian-American, and her latest collaboration is with an iconic Italian supercar manufacturer. Lamborghini and Lady Gaga are making dreams possible for kids across the U.S. As the founder of Born This Way Foundation, she and her mother Cynthia raised $333,800 by listing her Huracan EVO RWD coupe on Omaze. Today, we see the benefactors describe how the donations will be utilized. Born This Way Foundation seeks to improve the mental health of children in tough situations. We applaud Lamborghini and Lady Gaga for stepping up to such a noble task. The car was featured in her music video “911”, and the Huracan EVO RWD sends 602 horsepower to the rear wheels. https://blog.dupontregistry.com/celebrity-cars/lamborghini-lady-gaga-are-making-dreams-possible/

I finally said it. I really needed to get it off my chest. Please don't come and insult me. It's been months (years?) since I've lost that flame with Gaga. For a long time, I've felt like I was "forcing" it in some way. But now, I just can't force it anymore. I originally fell in love with her for her personality, her passion, her art and her openness with fans. Though I understand why she took distance from her fanbase, I just can't accept what she has become : a money-making machine (= ALL that she has ALWAYS stood AGAINST in the past). Also, I don't see the passion anymore, nor the personality. All I see is a cold and distant woman that doesn't seem to care about music anymore nor her fanbase. Remember when she said she felt used at the time of the Fame perfume a couple of years ago ? Guess what : now, she's selling make-up (I'm okay with this), watches (why not?), perfumes (mmmh, that rings a bell...), biscuits (wtf?) and now legos (ok bye). If she was still trying to infuse passion into her art, I wouldn't care at all. But it's like she gives no **** about her album. And God knows how sad it is considering how GOOD the album is (clearly my favourite one). Honestly, I don't feel like stanning an artist now, but a businesswoman instead. And don't come at me saying "2020 was a difficult time !". Yes, it was. For EVERYBODY. But just look at what miss Dua Lipa achieved during the pandemics : - released an album - released bunches of singles and music videos (3 versions for "Levitating" !!!) - released a REMIX album with guests like Madonna and Gwen Stefani - released more remixes on streaming platforms - released collabs with Angèle, DaBaby, Miley and Kylie Minogue - did a whole virtual show for her album - is planning to release a B-side/sequel album And she's not the only one. My point here is COVID-19 was no excuse (even less when you're part of the richest women right now), and at this point, I don't even wanna know the reason why she's been more active about politics than her own career. There must be plenty of valid reasons, but I care no longer. The thing is I have not even been part of the most demanding fans for the last year. I really didn't expect a lot considering how difficult the situation was. But I did expect at least some recognition towards her music. She could have just sang one or two songs live from home on the piano. Nothing too exhausting or too demanding. ... Or simply release the allegedly already-filmed music videos ... Or ask some artists to make some visuals for her songs just like Katy Perry did with her album (love the witchy aesthetics in "Cry About It Later"). I would have been genuinely happy with this. Don't mind me. I'm grateful for what we had. Rain on Me was awesome, and 911 music video outstanding and probably one of her best in a long time. But... That's not enough anymore for me to remain a fan. And that is okay. I'm growing "older" and I just don't want to keep stanning an artist just because that's what I've been doing for the past 10 years. I want to evolve and I feel like being a fan is not part of my evolution as a human being. I'll keep loving her and wishing her all the best. Caution : I'm not posting this to "spread" negativity on this website. I think all opinions - at long as they remain respectful and constructive - should be welcome in here. Also, I hope this post will be received with respect and positivity, and not with toxicity. To conclude, I will ask @Admin or ANYONE ELSE to delete my account permanently. It is something users are still not capable of doing, and I think it is not okay considering you can delete your account on ANY website, social plateform or app. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones

She is the absolute sweetest The Director of 'Framing Britney Spears' shared this story from the POM Vegas era. I heard this story that didn’t make it in the film: Felicia said Britney was judged for being herself. So if you were judged for being yourself, you related to her. She related to you. Felicia recounted many times queer people would tell Britney “You gave me courage because they judged you too.” And Britney was very moved by it. One time this 14-year-old boy named David came in—this was during her Vegas residency—he wrote Britney this letter that he was struggling because he was gay and having mental health issues. He had attempted suicide. He expressed his love for her in this message, that as a kid, he had a lunchbox with her on it. And none of the kids would eat with him, so he would pretend to eat with Britney. In this letter, he wrote that her message made him want to live. Felicia said that he gave her the letter and left. Britney read it and started crying and sent Felicia to get his address. Then Britney wrote him a letter back, and proceeded to write him every year. And she gave him tickets to come back. He said that he came back for the meet & greet, and said “If no one else ever says they’re proud of you, know that I’m proud of you.” And this was in Vegas when she’d been under conservatorship. So it’s confusing to hear these cognisant, emotional stories about how she’s helping another person. And then she’s in this system designed for people who don’t know how to act in their own best interests. FREE BRITNEY!! Update Britney & David:

I know you all are tired of seeing another thread discussing Traumatica and Gaga's supposed lack of interest for this era, if you don't want to read, just keep scrolling. I'm on add*rall and just wanted to get this "theory" off my chest and see if anyone else agrees Chromatica was very cookie cutter Gaga. In a way, it played on almost every stereotype that people think of Gaga. Dance pop / EDM songs, VERY gay collaborations, an alien theme/aesthetic, very stereotypical Gaga outfits and performances that are visually appealing and CLASSIC Gaga (but don't have any meaning behind them, unlike the Born This Way horns, or the meat dress, and even every outfit from the ARTPOP era and even the Joanne hat had a meaning behind it)... even the name of the lead single is similar to her most popular song of all time, and has... honestly some of the most basic lyrics and the LEAST creative chorus of her entire career. While I do think many of the lyrics of Chromatica were genuine, it is quite interesting when you think about how many of the songs were allegedly originally written as ballads, but she gave the reigns to the producers to create them into pop dance songs. Gaga NEVER does anything twice, and she always constantly pushes the boundaries she previously explored with her music, which is why Chromatica was so interesting to me - it was a return to dance pop, but it was not as innovative as her previous dance records. It's like if, after Born This Way, Gaga released an album like Ally's ASIB pop songs instead of ARTPOP - it would probably be successful and have bops, but it is a downgrade in her evolution as an artist. Chromatica is probaby her best album as a WHOLE, but in terms of pushing the boundaries, it just ... didnt. I know for a fact that Gaga realizes this - she's sat in the studio for hours putting those songs together, listening to them on repeat, and the thought 100% crossed her brain that these were all solid, very SAFE songs. I feel like if she had creative control, she would definitely create a more experimental record, however with the massive success of ASIB, I feel like her label forced her to create a GP-pandering album with digestible tracks, so they wouldn't be turned off by say, hyper-experimental production from the likes of SOPHIE (RIP Legend). It makes complete sense to me. For example, Rain On Me simply does not sound anything like a song she would normally write, in terms of the flow and structure and melodies of the song. If you told me 7 years ago that Gaga's next pop singles would have lyricless EDM drop choruses I would have screamed. Hell, they even got MAX MARTIN to help write Stupid Love. That's something Gaga would never have done, and I believe she even stated she didn't need him in the past. Its clear to me that her label really wanted Chromatica to appeal to many people to ride off ASIB's success, and as a result I feel like the reason Gaga isn't promoting this album as much is because she doesn't FULLY believe in this album, if she had the choice she would have made it something much more experimental and genuine. You can tell when Gaga's heart and soul is in the art, and Stupid Love and Rain On Me's videos, although they were serves, to me felt like someone else behind the reigns. Stupid Love storyline of the tribes really pales in comparison to the story she told in Born This Way, GUY, or even PI/John Wayne/Million Reasons. Hell, even the album photoshoot and outfits always mean something - Born This Way's slime, ARTPOP's stripped down naked look and wigs, versus Chromatica was just Gaga wearing cool outfits but in a monochrome pink alien backdrop. Also did Gaga even ever explain why everything on Chromatica is specifically PINK? So... why am I saying this? I honestly think this theory makes complete sense, but is also good to keep in mind since I see a lot of people dragging Gaga for not being as involved in this era. I think that when COVID caused everything to be cancelled, and this may be a stretch, but Gaga simply didn't want to promote the sh!t out of Chromatica because it's not a work she fully believes in. I mean she is an artist that takes her craft very seriously, and seeing people's reactions to the album being lukewarm and generic, Gaga probably felt the same and maybe even felt embarrassed promoting these works under her name. Again maybe a reach, but if I was an artist, and one of the most unique visionaries of the 21st century, I wouldn't want to be known for a generic dance record that my label forced me to make, I'd want to promote an album I fully believed in. It sucks as a little monster that Gaga didn't give us much content this era, but with this theory in mind, it's easy to see why she's putting much more time into other things like the election and helping COVID victims. But also, from a label perspective, Gaga can be a VERY risky artist, and at this specific point in her career she had to play things very safe, we have to remember she was once literally the MOST controversial celebrity of our generation. Her return to dance pop had to make a lot of people satisfied, so it is honestly smart that she played it safe, the last thing we want is for her to have people in pitchforks rioting outside her concerts again. And lastly, the reason I really want to believe this theory is because, there seems to be a common feeling amongst LM's that Gaga has lost her touch, or Gaga peaked creatively in 2013, or Gaga doesn't care about pop music anymore. It can seem very easy to believe this, especially since Gaga has moved on to other endeavors, and is finding huge success. But I truly believe in my heart that Gaga's soul belongs in pop music. I can't help but remember the way Gaga talked in the 2020 Billboard interview about how her soul comes alive when she writes pop music, and the fact that she even reached out to a relatively underground experimental hyper-pop producer like SOPHIE to create some demo songs.I hope that Chromatica as an era is only the beginning, and after Gucci era is done, Gaga, now having reclaimed her spot in 2020 as a veteran pop girl and satisfying the general public with Chromatica, continues to push the boundaries in her pop music. But only time will tell. "Time, the ultimate truth teller." -Katy Maya Angelou Perry
