Texas country singer Kacey Musgraves is throwing her weight behind US Senate candidate James Talarico—and firing back at former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. "I'll take [Ella Langley] over Kacey Musgraves any day," Noem, who previously represented South Dakota in the House of Representatives, posted on X. "And if I'm choosin' Texas, I'll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico." Musgraves responded on X: "I don't think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it." Absolutely not. There is supposed to be crews of PAs for top billed people. I know because my best friend IS a PA and that is their job FX should ABSOLUTELY be providing that budget, with how long the work days can be they (the actors) are basically cattle that needs to be protected at all costs and the importance of the person having extremely long show days then going behind the wheel of a car is VERY irresponsible. She is ABSOLUTELY correct. This is abhorrent. That is SEVERAL jobs being lost as well. Oh I'm HOT about this let me cool off12 points

did she suddenly come to her senses or is she just blaming him for the flop?11 points

You aren’t putting your life at risk. Roller coasters are no more risky than riding in a car. They are in fact less risky. You are SIGNIFICANTLY more likely to be killed in your car on the way to a park than riding a ride at a park. These types of accidents are insanely rare. More people per year as a result of dairy cows than roller coasters. They’re fun because they are designed to be fun and have an overall exemplary safety record. This is a tragedy, but it is also extremely, extremely uncommon.11 points

I know this is scary but please remember these sorts of accidents are so incredibly rare and that is why they make the news like they do. This particular coaster is made by B&M, a company that started building coasters in 1988. This is the first time anyone has ever died on one of their rides in their 38 year history. It is WAY too early to tell what happened here but I would sooner believe that this was due to either the actions of the rider, a decision one of the ride ops made, or some sort of failure to catch a maintenance issue from the park’s maintenance staff than it being any fault in the ride. Why am I saying this? To remind you that despite the way the media and online personalities like to speak, coasters and parks are safe. Accidents are ridiculously rare, and whenever one does happen, changes are made to keep those accidents from happening again. On average, 4 people per year die on roller coasters and that includes people who died because of health issues rather than a fault of a ride. For reference, over 100 people die in car crashes per day. There has not been a coaster fatality due to a mechanical failure since 2003. That is how crazy rare these are. Nothing is 100% fool proof. There will always be accidents and tragedies in absolutely anything. But remember that millions of people ride coasters per year (to get an idea of how many, over 10 million people visit Magic Kingdom per year and that is one single park out of thousands) and they don’t die. And, if this turns out to be the fault of Six Flags Over Georgia due to maintenance negligence, also know that that does NOT impact any other Six Flags park. Every Six Flags park has their own site maintenance department so a failure of one does not mean it is a company wide failure. There is likely to be a LOT of sensationalism around this, a lot of incorrect suggestions, and a lot of huge assumptions. Just like there is with plane crashes. Don’t fall for it. This is a uniquely tragic situation that represents a massive, massive anomaly in an industry that has a ridiculously good safety record.11 points

Wasn't there a report earlier this year about how some companies relying too much on AI were losing money to it because the AI was doing such a poor job they had to have real workers to go back and manually fix its crap anyway? And a big company wants to try that with a video game, a market where the players are incredibly critical over even the tiniest mistakes? I knew Epic's ceo is obsessed with ai, but I'll be surprised if this has a positive outcome for them. I know plenty of large games already use ai for art/textures here and there, but not the whooole game lol8 points

How is singing in a parade not starting from the bottom? They didn’t air it just because of her, there were other performers, most of whom were local talent. She also performed as Stefani Germanotta, so there was no official debut6 points

How can you not be self-aware enough to not know that this wasn't a good idea in the first place?? She's a grown ass adult and she's able to make her own choices. Where exactly is the accountability?5 points

Jessica Lange is far from D list lol. She has 2 Oscars, 3 Emmys, 5 Golden Globes and 1 Tony. She is one of the most awarded actresses in Hollywood’s history. Also even D list actors get rides, specially when they are working with such a big company.5 points

In a horrifying scene witnessed by dozens of park-goers, a man died after being ejected from a car on the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia on Monday. In a statement, Six Flags said they were "deeply saddened by the guest incident," and that park workers and local authorities responded immediately. Witnesses described a horrific scene, saying the man fell and hit the ride several times. One witness told Cody Alcorn that the falling man was captured on their souvenir picture. "He was in our pictures," the witness said. "He fell and hit the car three different times." A husband and wife on the ride saw the man ejected from his car and bouncing off the coaster three times. "We saw it all," the man said. "We were having a great time and went to 'Oh my God, what is happening?' " the woman said. They both said workers checked their safety harness before the ride. Fortunately it was caught early and he had the nodule removed by removing part of his lung. PSA: Lung cancer is one of the most deadly cancers since it’s often not caught early4 points

But they didn’t even answer the question about the price tag. When directly asked about the fact there was a price tag, they just sidestepped the question and told an anecdote that they talked to the creator that if someone was interested they would talk to him about it, but it doesn’t explain why they put up a price tag for $15k. They do say they have now raised the price but it’s annoying that they couldn’t explain why they put a price tag on it if it wasn’t for sale.4 points

First: I know this is a silly thought, but I keep thinking about it so here it goes. Humans have been talking in some kind of way for millions of years, hell even dinos were talking in a way as well. This is not a new thing. Madonna has been talking about talking for two songs in a row, almost like it's her catchphrase to talk about stuff. Talk about, talk about, I've got something to talk about. Is she missing conversations in her life? Doesn't anyone want to talk to her anymore? I don't get it, but I am intrigued. What do ya'll think? OT: I had this feeling when Gaga was promoting MR in 2016/17 and she kept repeating "good one". It made me feel like I needed a good one too.4 points

That’s so bizarre. Being there in 2011, seeing Judas underperform and TEOG be rushed out as a safer song and became a safe hit. She had never underperformed yet so it was very different. And now it outstreams all of BTW’s 2011 hits combined.4 points
