  11. Dolly's passing may have come after it was too late to reschedule the album release, which was undoubtedly planned months in advance. It's rare for an artist to be able to pull an album last minute like Prince did with The Black Album. Just a possibility, I obviously am not an authority

  12. Came here to say this. Mayhem is post-healing. Chromatica is pre-healing. The Chromatica Ball was the healing.

  14. TikTok reveals that the #1 Global Song of the Summer 2026 is Katy Perry's 'The One That Got Away'. 'The One That Got Away' was on Katy Perry's phenomenally successful 'Teenage Dream' album and was first released as a single in 2011. The track has been discovered by a new generation on TikTok this summer, where the community has used it to soundtrack over 42 million videos and over 55 billion video views, and catapulted it back into the charts worldwide, including the Billboard Global 200 chart where it has spent the last 21 weeks. The track - which now has over 1.8bn streams on Spotify - fueled a wave of nostalgic, emotionally driven content on the platform – from covers and TV edits to personal “the one that got away” reflections Katy Perry said: “It's surreal to see The One That Got Away having this moment, all these years later. The thing about music is that you never really know where a song is going to end up, or when someone is going to find it. From seeing it being chosen in the “choose your own adventure” section of my Lifetimes Tour concert film to seeing people discover it on TikTok and make it part of their own stories has been really special to watch. It’s nice to revisit an amazing chapter while watching another unfold.” US: tiktok.com

  20. Disagree, tbh. I think the tension of the song actually needs the pull between the predator and the victim (audience/media + artist).

  21. No, because 500 is clearly more than 2 and m comes later in the alphabet than b. So 500 m > 2b in every aspect, just like ⅓ is less than ¼

  27. Welcome to THE 2026 Supermegarate on Gaga's Discography! Some may dismiss pop as inauthentic. But for Lady Gaga, one of popular culture’s greatest and most extravagant creations, the inauthenticity is the point. No artist has more defiantly embodied that provocation this century than the woman born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta in New York in 1986. Never wedded to the same image, one minute wearing a dress made of raw meat at the VMAs, the next a coat of Kermit the Frog puppets on German TV, Gaga personifies pop’s surface obsessions while simultaneously upending them. In a sense, her creative identity had crystallized by 21: child pianist, aspiring actor, downtown performer, provocateur. Each facet powered a distinct chapter, the celebrity fascination of The Fame (2008) and The Fame Monster (2009); the radical pop politics of Born This Way (2011); the misunderstood maximalism of ARTPOP (2013); the jazz standards of Cheek to Cheek (2014) and Love for Sale (2021); the personal Americana of Joanne (2016); and the Oscar-winning pathos of A Star Is Born (2018). She returned to the dancefloor with Chromatica (2020), blending euphoric dance-pop with trauma and resilience, before taking to the skies with “Hold My Hand” for Top Gun: Maverick (2022). In 2024, Joker: Folie à Deux brought another theatrical transformation as Harley Quinn, alongside Harlequin, a genre-fluid companion album moving through jazz, big band, theatrical pop, and original compositions. Then came MAYHEM (2025): an industrial, conceptual, glittering monster that pulled from electro, funk, rock, disco, industrial pop, and Gaga’s own musical past while refusing to simply recreate it. Its world expanded through the massive Copacabana concert and The MAYHEM Ball, before the album won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2026 Grammys. In 2026, she dismantled that world with Apple Music Live: MAYHEM Requiem, radically reimagining the album through new arrangements and interludes, while another transformation arrived through new music for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Nearly two decades after The Fame, Gaga remains remarkably unwilling to settle into a definitive version of herself. Across albums, soundtracks, jazz records, collaborations, live reinventions, characters, costumes, genres, and eras, Gaga has remained a shapeshifter with a message: the surface may be artificial, but the transformation is always real. Rules: 1) You have to rate each and every track of the album from 2 to 10. 2) Trolling is prohibited. 28. Taking care of our teeth is a straightforward process: brush, floss, rinse, done. But with its new CameraJet toothbrush, launched on Tuesday, Dyson wants to simplify the process. The toothbursh has an AI-powered camera that detects gaps between teeth so it can floss while you brush. The toothbrush’s camera uses a 100,000-pixel macro lens with a light. It’s powered by the company’s trademarked AI machine-learning algorithm, Gap Optical Targeting, which was trained on 470,000 dental images collected by Dyson during development. Gap Optical Targeting analyzes 28 live images per second to detect gaps between teeth within 100 milliseconds. The CameraJet’s jet then shoots a burst of mouthrinse at the gap to floss it. Since the CameraJet also connects to 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, you can use the camera as an endoscope to see a live view in the brush’s live-viewing or auto-jetting modes. In the app, you can also see coverage maps, guided cleaning, brushing and flossing insights and feedback. According to the press release, no images are recorded or stored on the product or in the cloud. All images remain private to the CameraJet user. https://www.cnet.com/health/personal-care/dyson-blasts-dental-care-499-toothbrush-featuring-camera/ https://www.dyson.com/en?ranMID=36310&ranEAID=TnL5HPStwNw&ranSiteID=TnL5HPStwNw-AghMtWRloZ.1Jl8Lyf1kfQ&siteID=TnL5HPStwNw-AghMtWRloZ.1Jl8Lyf1kfQ&utm_source=Skimlinks.com&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=us_en__na__na__na__purchase&utm_term=&utm_content=rakuten_1

It was declared by the Lesbian and Gay Association — designed to combat erasure and marginalisation of bisexual people in the LGBTQ+ community itself, it’s also in honour of Freddy Mercury (who was bisexual) and he was born in September. GLAAD also made a BiWeek in September 2014 which was the year it became internationally recognised by LGBTQ+ charities worldwide.

  35. It’s a shame that people don’t understand that this is simply Islamophobia because western white people wont even let women wear shorter skirts, wouldn’t let them wear trousers or even vote until the last 100 years not to mention the autonomy of their bodies are now in question. But god forbid we give people the choice to wear a Burqa should they desire to. Perhaps let’s no longer allow nuns to wear habits next. Oh wait we won’t because they’re majority white Christian or catholic. That’s the difference. White people think colonial rules should be the only rules.

  38. BTW Ball easily. No other pop star put a literal 30 ton, five story Gothic castle featuring 30 active doors and windows, moving mechanical elements on a stage. She's also utilizing avant garde wardrobe pieces from experimental and haute couture designers like Atelier Versace, Tex Saverio, and A-Morir. Not to mention MOTHER G.O.A.T, instead of regular interludes the only other show of hers that is on this caliber is Mayhem Ball. I mean, that iconic 25 feet (or about 7.5 meters) tall gown alone is enough why. Though there are more. Nobody is doing it like her
