  13. I love Joanne but damn I forced myself to like it, it’s not something I’d want as a fan to feel ever again, how sad for an artist like Gaga to go from her first 4 albums to that one.

  14. Joanne gets boring for me. I don’t even care for DIC and everyone seems to love it. I’d rather listen to the worst song on Chromatica (Fun Tonight or Sine) before I listen to Joanne. Chromatica is S tier.

  18. Mayhem the songs themselves are not that chaotic..most are very normal and tame bops. Killah maybe is the standout in that regard? But then we got how bad, don’t call, lovedrug, garden of Eden, zombie boy, shadow, etc all very very not “maaayhem!!!!!!!$/8/);&(9(((&:$/&:;($ahshdifjd” you know what I mean? Like doesn’t mayhem mean chaos madness crazy wild? None of those songs are crazy or wild (oh also I’m disregarding the deluxe tracks cause they did not make it onto the official tracklist) also the first visuals for mayhem, the disgusting makeup n everything for the deluxe album cover photo shoot and disease MV..but then the majority of the songs are cute and pretty and then abracadabra was an amazing second single but nothing else on the album sounded like it and she never gave another MV even close to as good as it..

  21. Reminder because I have come across a lot of gay people who don't donate because they think they still aren't allowed to: gay and bisexual people are indeed allowed to give blood as of 2023! It used to be that they couldn't, but that's been reversed. Blood donation is now based upon individual sexual habits regardless of orientation and homosexual, bisexual, and heterosexual people are held to the same sexual standards. You can check if you're eligible according to the health screening guidelines here: https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/how-to-donate/eligibility-requirements/lgbtq-donors.html

  29. R.I.P. I hope his death has nothing to do with Little Monsters harrasing him or else we as a community of a kind and loving artist that gaga is, have failed... I totally stood beside him, when he criticized Gaga for being inspired by Nightcall and not crediting him. I'm sure her team f-ed it up, as the credit only came later... For me the sampling is very obvious, but besides that, if smaller Artists work gets used by bigger Artists, just as Beyoncé or others did in the past, just credit them. And don't attack the smaller Artists for calling out. Some claims are a reach, but Gaga herself has made clear, there was a uncanny similarity and inspiration.

  30. TFM or Born This Way because nothing she could do would meet those standards and this entire fanbase would be bitching about it for years

  31. Born This Way remains the blueprint for me in its approach to genre. It's cohesive yet diverse. If I were to classify it into one category, it would simply be 'pop', but that would be doing the album a disservice. It has this industrial, gritty, relentless throughline that ties every song together, but still gives each song enough breathing room to create a world of their own. Heck, she managed to get mariachi, german techno and classic rock 'n roll to sound cohesive on one album.

  38. "why does it feel like people don't know her face or her name?" Because half of her face is covered in brown bangs, she has no distinctive shtick as an artist & her voice is pleasant but forgettable

  40. so that's a totally and completely different situation, namely because that it doesn't involve a baby and a subscription to apple music gives you access to an entire library of music, not just one album and what happens after the birth? does she continue to exploit the baby for money whilst it's unable to consent? or does she stop posting and keeps the subscriptions live?

  42. Katy yelling 'BACK TO THE STAGE' at 2:37 The bottle was supposed to travel across the audience towards a matching giant straw. However, once Perry was above the crowd, the stunt became harder to control as different sections of the audience pushed the inflatable in competing directions. 'Get me to that straw,' Perry could reportedly be heard telling the crowd as she pointed towards the stage installation. Footage showed her attempting to redirect fans with her hands, but the bottle continued drifting away while she remained enclosed inside it. The moment did not appear to involve a dangerous equipment malfunction, and Perry was eventually moved back towards the intended destination. Still, the image of the Grammy-nominated singer urgently directing thousands of fans from inside a giant plastic bottle quickly transformed the ambitious stage stunt into a viral comedy of errors. https://www.instagram.com/p/DbG_DcPovKU/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=embed_video_watch_again https://www.fashiontimes.co.uk/katy-perry-inflatable-bottle-stunt-isle-mtv-malta-1762023

  44. The Disease visuals fit the song perfectly, tho. The whole point of the album and era being called MAYHEM is about her persona containing multitudes, so imo, the juxtaposition of heavier/grittier cuts on the album and lighter/groovier/poppier cuts, as well as darker visuals and campier visuals etc. is kind of the point lol
