#1 album with 134k first week 44 years into your career with your 15th album is stellar. Not even stellar for just those metrics, 134k is comparable to some debuts from modern stars. She really put everything into this. The quality is insanely high, the roll out was eventful and exciting, and she seems more focused and energized than she has in years. This genuinely is new ground for a female artist her age and it’s so impressive. I’m so happy for her and PROUD of her. Even as a super fan I thought these days were behind us but she is, for the 100th time, proving everybody wrong. I love her.

I honestly am bored with the AHS hate. Yes there have been some weird deviations after Hotel. But Cult was actually well written and had a good ending, Apocalypse already brought back the Coven everyone demanded, Red Tide was really good (Death Valley being latched on made it seem bad and they should have just done a full season of Red Tide), and NYC was beautifully shot, paced well, and in my opinion captured the essence of the gay community in a weirdly perfect and honest way. I do think the Kardashian season was a fluke and ended cheesy as **** and the idea of doing a book was a bit silly. And I have my reservations about this being the final season. I do think seasons like Roanoke and Apocalypse were confusing since narrative and lost people. 1984 is only hated on because it is campy and brought in soooo many new people and seasons with a ton of new characters while the core ones disappear always get hated on. But in my opinion 1984 is actually a fun season that nails the 80s slasher genre. point blank: enjoy this for what it is because it’s probably done after this. THEYRE obviously feeding the gays and no doubt Gaga should swing in for a few episodes. It would only solidify her legacy in the show as a staple and legitimize her as part of the canon. I don’t think this hurts her in the slightest, especially considering AHS is already very Mayhem-coded. she should do it. It’s a part of her career and won her her first Golden Globe.

The Countess was killed off and is a ghost in the Hotel Cortez now yeah. Although I’m sure in Murder House there was a loophole like once a year (Halloween I think) the dead can leave the place they died for one night.

AHS is such a mess. They've been trying to revive what the first 5 seasons have been for almost a decade now, without any success whatsoever. Them trying to get everybody back for some random cameo this coming season feels so desperate. THAT BEING SAID, I'd tune in just to see her in that role again. Loved every second of the 5th season
