  2. Yeah, that’s what strikes me the most about this convo. It’s not that it’s *wrong* to express concern, it’s the fact that people are not only speaking with so much certainty/authority about what she’s going through without really knowing and some going as far as to say it’s “disgusting” and that she’s setting a bad example. Like if you actually gave a **** about someone suffering from an eating disorder, you wouldn’t pile on and cast such harsh judgement. If she’s unwell, I hope she has people near her who can support her, but people def have to be more mindful about how they’re talking about her body.

  3. She's very clearly unwell. I'm seeing a lot of people using the 'never talk about a woman's body' rhetoric but honestly I think in this context it's dangerous. It's never healthy when you can see someone's entire sternum, backbone, when their temples are hollowing out. She seems weak on this tour. Someone close to her needs to step up. But when people are in the throes of ED (if that's what it is) they often push away people who try to help them. We don't know what's going on with her. She could also be sick, but I know that she's seeing the comments, and I'm sure she would've addressed it by now if she were. Also a lot of the pics she's been uploading recently are body checks.. anyone familiar with ED knows this. It's sad to watch and god I hope she gets help and fast And also a sidenote, people are noticing that Cynthia seems to have recovered, refuses to talk about Wicked now, and they don't seem to be in contact anymore. This is also common for people with EDs to go through. They are in it together, but if one wants to recover they have to cut ties with the one who doesn't want to, otherwise they just trigger each other and recovery is impossible Lots of assumptions here, but it all tracks

  4. ngl it would be soooooo fckn cool to see Gaga rewear costumes from the fame ball

  5. she's the last person who needs to post about it honestly.. gaga is gay culture and she doesn't need to post "happy pride month" to prove it.

  6. You guys have to face the hard truth. This is not 'okay' this is dangerously unwell, for one reason or another We aren't debating which natural body types are attractive and scrutinising women, we're noticing somebody wasting away before our eyes

  7. This Instagram/TikTok virtue signaling needs to stop. Even the term "pressure to post" is so cringe to me

  8. A concertgoer fell to his death during a Goose concert on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, according to CBS News. Police told the outlet that a 51-year-old man fell from MSG’s 300 level and suffered fatal injuries just before 10 p.m. Authorities found the man unconscious and unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital. https://variety.com/2026/music/news/concertgoer-falls-to-death-goose-madison-square-garden-1236786659/

  12. Olivia Rodrigo achieves her third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, launches atop the list with 485,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending June 18, according to Luminate — marking Rodrigo’s biggest week ever by units, and the largest week of 2026 for any album by a soloist. The album’s first-week sales were bolstered by its availability across more than 15 physical variants (including two signed editions). Of the album’s opening-week sales, vinyl purchases comprised 164,000. Of you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’s 485,000 equivalent album units earned in the latest tracking week, album sales comprise 273,000, SEA units comprise 211,000 (equaling 218.41 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks), and TEA units comprise 1,000.

  13. We also need to remember that people who are struggling should not be put away from society. Her struggle shows in her physical body, unlike most of us which our struggles are hidden. Shes allowed to struggle in public without society attacking her.

  14. I am not even a fan, but whoever persuaded her into touring and dropping new music needs to be shafted from her team. She is not well at all. Those tour shots are hard to look at tbh. This girl has a massive platform, meaning so many young fans look to her as inspo, which is also concerning.

  15. I’ve probably said this before, but I think the conceptual element of the bulk of Gaga’s work is in the aesthetic, theatrical, and cinematic staging of her music and not necessarily in the music itself. Take Bad Romance: on its face, the song is basically about a toxic/obsessive relationship, but the way Gaga stages it in the MV and the live performances, it becomes about her toxic relationship with fame and with her own persona. At her best, Gaga writes great pop music that she then stages into a broader theatrical/conceptual narratives, but I don’t really think most of her albums are as conceptually dense as the eras that surround them (and I think that’s a good thing, tbh).

  17. I don’t know why it’s this way in the US. Like just ****ing increase the price if you have to. The excuse is always that you’ll get worse service but like… then they would just lose their job so what’s the difference

  18. LMAO I’m screaming.. Lol I do NOT claim to “own” Ariana grande, for anybody interested in hearing my thoughts on that btw. The part about me saying I’m a long term fan is simply to give context that I have followed her for years which is why , to me, her skeletal appearance today is jarring and noticeably different. and it indicates something is not right. I hope she gets help! I don’t wish to get into a moral debate with you or any other absolute stranger on a lady Gaga forum about it further so I won’t be engaging with you any more as you continue to try and paint me as a horrible person for pointing out an objective truth. Sorry I didn’t sugar coat it for yall or make it politically correct, and that it upsets you. again- I hope she is okay, and if she’s not that she gets help. Thanks

  22. I don’t think it’s as simple as “never talk about a woman’s body,” but I also think the *way* folks are approaching it errs more into the field of judgement than genuine concern.

  23. Agreed but instead of taking advantage of momentum she will take 4 or 5 years to release next album and let momentum totally die
    6 points
  24. Yeah I agree, because ive watch many videos and while she looks very thin, its not like what people online are saying, and shes energetic and acting normal on stage. Sure, she might have an eating disorder, but I dont think there is anything serious as of now. It also doesnt help that she intentionally go for pale colors and makeup and bleached eyebrows.

  25. I think it’s more like the fears were amplified by the fame All of these fears you listed are common but can definitely be become much more common and problematic in their nature when you become famous Insecurity - your now being looked at by everyone and subjected to everyone’s opinions Death - grasping mortality when your living a life kind of alienated in a way from a regular life and missing out on pivotal life experiences love, sex, men - there’s now a power dynamic wether you want it or not that comes along with ur social status and money as a woman, for any most men you are interested in romantically Suffocation - people in ur face all the time and labels controlling you and never actually being alone with security by ur side nearly 24/7 bc ur living out of hotels Alcohol - all substances become more available to you and also easier to overindulge in when it provides you a temporary escape from stress and ur new life you aren’t used to

  26. Well, now she's the one who's making cheap fart jokes as entertainment, because she has nothing else to offer.

  27. It is her responsibility when she’s purposefully body checking and flaunting her emaciated body in front of millions of people, especially impressionable young girls. According to a Wicked costume designer, Ariana herself requested that she wanted her costumes to reveal her chest area and shoulders as much as possible. Ariana knows what she’s doing. She wants people to be concerned, that’s how it validates her ED. Like you said, being mentally ill doesn’t automatically make you a victim or a good person. Anyway, we can only wish she recovers.

  28. Idk but we should all definitely get mad right now just incase. So grab your pitchforks and get ready to cancel her

  29. This attitude is not ok. Nobody is saying she is ugly, she definitely isn’t. But the majority of the comments are out of concern for both her and young impressionable kids thinking that looks healthy.

  30. But whats the purpose? Like are people doing it out of concern & wanting to do something positive or are they just wanting to gossip about a celebrity? Some of y'all are very clearly one of these

  32. Restaurants in places such as Kansas City, Atlanta and Philadelphia have begun adding automatic 20% gratuities to checks, during the tournament, according to industry groups and restaurant operators. Supporters say the move is intended to protect American servers who rely heavily on gratuities and avoid confusion for visitors unfamiliar with American tipping norms. At McCarthy’s Pub NYC, waitress Louise Daggett said serving the international crowds has been equal parts exhausting and entertaining. “Everyone has been really sweet . . . they’re loud and happy, very nice,” Daggett told The Post. But many are baffled by the American ritual of signing receipts and calculating tips. “It’s very different. And a lot of people haven’t been leaving tips,” she said. That can sting when a large group orders countless pints over several hours. “There’s been a lot of tables that have come in and had a tab of almost $700,” Daggett said. She says most visitors aren’t being rude — they really don’t know how things work here. “They do ask”. “They say, ‘Oh, how do I do this?” I explain to them that tipping is big here in the city, and it’s a nice habit to do.” In many countries, there is minimal to no tipping because European restaurants pay staff like any other profession and workers don’t rely on tips, so customers assume they’ve already paid for service. x x

  33. I know Reddit can be a cesspool but there's a lot of comments there concerned about her health. She was always pretty thin like when she did Rain On Me. She does look though what can be considered fragile.
    4 points
  34. She's not and it's concerning. Like I said in the other thread, this is much more difficult to deal with when you're in the public eye. People commenting on it doesn't help, but is it helpful to pretend that everything is fine? She has to take the first step in admitting that something is wrong and getting help, but it takes a lot of insight that you don't necessarily have in this position. It's painful to see someone slowly consuming themselves in front of the cameras, and there's nothing that can be done from our side.

  35. How bout because I shared an observation on her body and how it’s changed from my pov as a long term fan, and not the entire breadth of my every single thought and feeling, about Ariana grande. i literally am in recovery for anorexia. I have all the empathy in the world for people who struggle. I don’t need to advertise my every damn thought for you people. She at the end of the day is a god damn celebrity who’s voice and image is the product. I can comment on her voice if she sounds off, but I can’t comment on how she looks. Got it.

  36. Lets be honest tho sis. What here suggests any concern or basic human empathy on your part though?

  37. I will agree with that. On the face of it it looks like quite a simple video but it's a major serve. It's my favourite out of the last handful she's done.

  38. I doubt she is in the healthy BMI / weight range for a woman her height and age its okay to state the obvious

  41. It was more to do with the makeup, the fact her face and body arent the same etc. the Armani Bad Romance outfit with the makeup and yellow wig still looked pretty much exactly the same to me. She looked amazing.

  43. I mean, I think DITD is pretty explicitly a double entendre about hiding in an emotionally abusive relationship and also wearing a mask/facade as a public figure and the potential that has for tragedy (hence the reference to Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Sylvia Plath, and Princess Diana in the bridge).

  44. Unless mistaken, she said that The Fame Monster was about the new fears she experienced during The Fame ball tour, and that it was the dark side of fame. I always thought the album was linked to The Fame in that way
    4 points
  45. Well I mean - I don’t think an album necessarily has to be planned to be conceptual. You can read through a bunch of songs you wrote and decide what they mean together as a piece, at a later time. I write songs often and don’t really figure out what they mean until the song is finished, or pair certain songs together to convey a greater message the songs create as a unit, even if they weren’t made in the same general time periods
