Since it is now officially also the 28th of March in the USA, it means that our queen, our Mother Monster, the Mistress of Mayhem, LADY GAGA has turned 40! Congrats Gaga!!!! When she turned 30, she said she wanted to explode in her 30s and damn she did. She did the Superbowl, multiple movies, released 3 studio albums, a soundtrack, a jazz album and a companion album to a movie, won so many awards, broke record after record, became a streaming powerhouse and gave us great music and live performances! Talk about exploding. Lets all celebrate her birthday here! And what do you guys think the next 10 years will have in store for us?

Too many songs on an album waters down the body of art, that I agree with.

I know people with BPD, none are nazis. And tbh whether its his mental health or not - he's maintained millions of listeners during his association & promotion with nazism and anyone who kept listening to his music during this period actively supported his behaviours.

But Mayhem was "done" a year ago

He apologized and explained the state of his mental health and what he was struggling with when he said a lot of the abhorrent things that he said. I'm inclined to believe him given how obvious it was that he was struggling with mental illness. This album is actually good. I'm not mad about it.

The name Judas comes up quite often in gospel readings during Holy Week. Made me think of the song. I'm Catholic and love it. Song and video I see the song as being in love with someone you know will betray or hurt you. But I've read too it's about feeling stronger after being betrayed

I'm a huge fan of most of his music but I just can't bring myself to be interested in his new music since like 2021 or whenever the Nazi stuff came out. He's been problematic for a long time but he crossed a line. Not surprised this is doing some numbers though.

I mean, she loves so many of the influences on the record tho (Justice, Crystal Castles, Santigold, MIA, modern post punk, electroclash etc.) so it does surprise me a little bit tbh
