  1. Prosecutors cannot pursue a death sentence against Luigi Mangione in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a federal judge ruled Friday, delivering a blow to prosecutors. U.S. District Judge Margaret M. Garnett dismissed two of the four federal counts against Mangione: murder through use of a firearm, which carries a potential death sentence, and a related firearms offense. Garnett left in place two federal stalking counts, which carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. Mangione has pleaded not guilty. 2. Alice, the opening banger and fan-favorite from Gaga's 2020 Covid-Era dance record Chromatica, has become the first non-single/non-promo single track off of the album to enter the 9-digit family. The classic 90's house vibe mixed in with the rabbit-hole references electrified pop audiences as they hit "play" the night this underrated album dropped in the middle of a pandemic, leaving many fans turning their living rooms into mini-dancefloors of escapism during lockdown. Many fans and casual listeners alike fronted this track as a potential for single-treatment, arguing the relatable metaphor of searching for a wonderland created a unique vibe and distinct tone for the Chromatica era while also giving it a classic, relatable message that would draw in a large audience. Unfortunately, it never got to see that pink-hued light gleam over it's piano-laced synthy chorus. Alice remains an underrated dance gem in Gaga's belt and now has the streams to back it.

  4. It's been one year and i'm still not over Abracadabra...idc that song is for the history books and it will NEVER get old to me. I would love a medley of Abracadabra/Disease/Vanish Into You but most importantly I want classic Gaga theatrics more than anything. I seriously need this to be her best Grammys performance of all time and one of the best ever period. Oh and an iconic c*nty ass red carpet look too please. Bring mistress of mayhem to me!!!

  5. Lady Gaga's singer-songwriter feature film Oscar winning hit "Shallow" has crossed 3 Billion streams on Spotify. She now joins only Billie Eilish in a unique rare class of women who have more than one song in the 3 Billion + club.

  15. Hi everyone, I’m unsure about a supposed leak of Maren, an unreleased track from 2012 from the ARTPOP era. Nowadays, with AI, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to tell what’s real and what isn’t. I found an Instagram account called “ARTPOPnews” (DJWS follows this profile) that posted an alleged snippet of Maren. According to the profile, they asked WS, who confirmed that it’s authentic. Has anyone else heard it?

  21. The Cure, a one-off song that became a radio sleeper hit in 2017, has now surpassed the 400 Million streaming mark. The song showcased Gaga dipping her toes into a tropical house/ R&B infused pop bop that was premiered as a surprise treat while she performed for the first time at Coachella.

  22. Bruno Mars has officially been named the 2026 Record Store Day ambassador. The news comes as the star is plotting a jam-packed year. Mars kicked off 2026 by announcing his highly-anticipated fourth album The Romantic, his first in a decade. The singer is also heading out on the road for an accompanying world tour. This year, Record Store Day falls on April 18. As a part of the day's special releases at participating record shops, Mars will release The Collaborations, a compilation album which showcases the singer's standout joint efforts. Songs like "Uptown Funk" with Mark Ronson, "Die With A Smile" with Lady Gaga, and the Grammy-nominated "Apt." with Rosé, will be featured on the LP. Before Record Store Day, Mars will be partnering with over 200 record stores across the U.S. for the rollout of The Romantic by hosting listening parties on Feb. 25, prior to when his album arrives on Feb. 27. It’s bound to be one romantic event — fans can find a list of participating stores at recordstoreday.com. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/bruno-mars-2026-record-store-day-ambassador-1235507453/

  23. Where’s everybody that said she doesn’t feel anything about issues anymore? She isn’t one of those artists that rushes out to make a statement at the beginning, she collects her thoughts before saying something and I think that’s better. Honestly I feel like that’s the opposite of performative

  36. DTMF recieved critical acclaim with a 95/100 on metacritic, it was his fourth US #1 album and the 6th spanish-language album to hit #1 on the BB200. It was a powerful album about Puerto Rican identity in the face of repeated colonialism. He had a sold out 31 date concert residency in Puerto Rico - and reserved all of the tickets for 10 dates exclusively for Puerto Ricans. He's also embarked on a 57 date world stadium tour - it was originally announced with 24 dates and sold so well it has more than doubled in length. Sold over 2.6 million tickets within a week, a record for any Latin artist. The 8 shows in Mexico City grossed $86.7million, the 2nd highest grossing concert series at a single venue globally (only Coldplay's 10 show run at Wembley last year beat it out). He's achieved concert sales records on this tour in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Australia, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Sweden, Poland & Italy. He's the first Latin act to ever sell out stadiums in Poland, Italy & Portugal.
