This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I always hated her catchphrase “when they go low we go high”. It just means the Democrats will never fight as hard as the GOP and this is why they’ve proven so useless to oppose anything this administration has done. They’re too concerned with hanging on to the moral high ground that they wont get down and fight on the level they need to win anything. The Democrats need a scrapper at this point not someone who wants to go high, which has been proven to be completely ineffective.

Gaga’s performance and energy was significantly better during Copa. I agree that the cinematography of Coachella N1 is the best visual representation of the show, but Copa’s cinematography is still really good, so that coupled with the better performance seals the deal for me

That catchphrase is like 17 years old at this point and at a time when the Obamas were constantly under a microscope simply because they were black. Just like their outfits were meticulously chosen to be more "conservative" and "family friendly" I'd assume that the catchphrase existed to counter the racist argument of "black people are all ghetto and they shouldn't hold the highest public office". It also highlighted the decorum needed in politics for things to work. The lack of many formal rules in all the highest bodies of every branch of government is what got us so deep in this mess. Well, @NUTELLA said to write.. why I love so much this song. First, has the sound that i love the most. I like 2 types of sounds (either is disco/ house or indie, like a Lana Del Rey song). I'm not bipolar for no reason. When I heard for the first time this song, it was love at the first sight. I liked it too the demo version, but i loooove more the final version. I loved the sound, the lyrics.. everything. When the song came out, and the album.. I didn't come out to my family. In that year, I moved in Dublin for some months, and this song and that city made me feel so freee. To be myself, to be ”full” gay. This song it means a lot to me, even if I sometimes post too much about this song, I really love it.

It was meant to be a nice moment and I hope she turns it into something similar like the Free Woman walk during Chromatica Ball and she just walks past people for the most part. I LOVE that she wants to get close and personal with fans... but all the up close videos show her seeming somewhat stressed out and checked out during this part while she just runs down the line with a market in hand. I totally get wanting the opportunity to have something signed, but she basically walks past **** being held out at her and phones positioned so people can tiktok their "moment", and in a few videos when you see her pose for a selfie at times, she immediately just look kind of over it when moving onwards. I truly think that she firstly pays attention to the crowd throughout the whole show and sees who isn't recording or waving crap at her. And secondly, the most heartfelt moments seen are hardly filmed from that person's pov because she probably wants it to go to the fan who has been singing along the entire night and living in the moment.

But Michelle always made it clear she never wanted to run for president, and she wouldnt do it today even if her win was guaranteed, thats the true answer. Politicians dont run for president guaranteeing a presidential win. Obama is a black man with a Muslim name, who came after 9/11 and the Bush era, yet he made the impossible and won the entire country. Its not like its an impossible thing for Michelle to win, even someone like Hilary whos extremely polarizing and hated by everyone won the popular vote.

It's such a comforting song, one of the best from Chromatica. The sounds and Gaga's voice make me feel like I'm floating, she could truly capture the feeling of and yearning for freedom in a heartwarming and hopeful way. I already loved the song but when she performed it at TCB I was just in awe. Her dressed in golde walking through the crowd in the purple light... almost divine. Free Woman is a highlight but Chromatica as a whole has this feeling like all the songs are a plead, a prayer and a scream for freedom and better days, and that's exactly why I love it so much. It's reflected in Gaga's use of her voice too, like how many lines are sang in this soaring voice, the words drawn out, repeated and echoed, lost in the synths.
