  1. She's one of the few contemporary artists that I think actually GETS Gaga. I remember a long while ago on here I mentioned Doja having the potential to be a worthy "successor to the throne" and I stand by it. Her and Doechii both.

  2. Azealia’s IQ is definitely higher than Nicki’s, thats for sure. Azealia’s roasts are shakespearian masterpieces next to Nicki’s filthy mouth.

  3. I always think back to when I was told by Swifties that I only like Gaga better because I can't possibly understand Taylor's elaborate lyrics as a non-native English speaker

  4. Abracadabra deserves a main category win. And I pray Gaga gets AOTY this year. Ugh I pray

  5. I just can't sing the studio version of "Abracadabra" anymore after the Rio concert. Every time I hear Abracadabra, I am like adding, Brazil!!! Let's go, Brazil!!!" It’s etched in my mind; those feel like the real lyrics to the song now. Even with "Schiebe," I find myself saying, "Obrigada!"

  8. Sorry if AP but Gold Derby (leading website on award predictions) speculates Gaga's frontrunning in early Grammy predictions. Read here or below: "Lady Gaga leads early 2026 Grammy predictions As the first round of voting approaches, the 14-time winner ranks most likely for noms in Album, Song, and Record of the Year, with Kendrick Lamar close behind. It's been nearly one month since the eligibility window for the 2026 Grammy Awards ended, and already, the competition for the trophies, which will be handed out on Feb. 1, is looking stiff. The Gold Derby predictions for the top four categories at the Grammys have already shed some light on the major races, serving as a snapshot for where sentiments lie as the start of the first round of voting approaches on Oct. 3 and runs to Oct. 15. Nominees will then be announced on Nov. 7, and final round voting will run from Dec. 12 to Jan. 5. Album of the Year Lady Gaga's sixth studio album, Mayhem, marked the singer's long awaited return to pop in the vein of her breakout album, The Fame, and it could mean a return to the Grammys stage in a major way. The 14-time winner most recently took home a Grammy earlier this year for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with her Bruno Mars collaboration "Die With a Smile." Mayhem currently tops Gold Derby's combined ranking of nomination predictions. Record of the Year But hot on Gaga's heals is Kendrick Lamar, who won five Grammys in 2025 with his mega-hit "Not Like Us." His album GNX and its lead singe, "Luther," featuring SZA, are expected to bring the California native back to Crypto.com Arena for the 2026 Grammys. He currently sits in second place in the top three categories, behind Gaga in each. But it's worth noting that both GNX and "Luther" lead Album and Record of the Year, respectively, according to Gold Derby editors. Song of the Year The top songwriting category is where Sabrina Carpenter makes her strongest showing with "Manchild," the lead single off of her seventh studio album, Man's Best Friend. The song, which was written by Carpenter, Amy Allen, and Jack Antoff [sic], is currently in third place in the category, behind "Abracadabra" and "Luther." Best New Artist Alex Warren's "Ordinary" has been perhaps the most unavoidable pop song of the year, dominating both the Hot 100 and TV ads since it debuted in February of this year. It should come as no surprise then that the influencer-turned-singer is sitting at the top of predicted Best New Artist nominees, just ahead of Lola Young, Sombr, the Marías, and Addison Rae."

  10. Tbh I think @Roughhouse Dandy was clear in the point they wanted to make, I think you replying to it the way u did was unnecessary and a bit problematic IMO. Like the point of this whole conversation is very unnecessary. They did said involving kids isn't good so i dont get the point of this

  12. Okay, so I haven’t heard the “diss track” about Charli, but I’m a little confused about why Taylor would feel like she needed to respond to Sympathy is a Knife. The song is literally about Charli getting imposter syndrome around Taylor and needlessly comparing herself to her which is…if not a compliment, is certainly not an insult lmao. Like what’s the tea?

  13. Not having this as a main cover is a crime Not only is this the first time Miss Swift has ever served, but it strips away the "relatable" artifice and shows her as driven, power hungry, and literally clawing for attention. It just makes perfect sense for the album title, working Max Martin, how the world perceives her vs how her fans perceive her, craving fame but also hating it - it all goes together so well

  16. Ten years ago on October 2nd, 2015, Lady Gaga released her initial cover of "I Want Your Love" by Chic. The early version of the song was originally intended for Chics covers compilation It's About Time, but the album was delayed three years in a row until 2018. Lady Gagas updated 2018 version was included on the album; the originally 2015 version never received a "true" release outside of the music video. The video was a showcase of Tom Fords upcoming Spring/Summer 2016 clothing line. This cover infamously played a role in the disco rumors for Lady Gagas then upcoming album Joanne, then only known by its teaser name "LG5". ---- I was SO obsessed with this back in 2015/2016. I was a very new fan at the time, so I don't think I new about it until awhile after it came out. This is definitely such a cool moment in her career, even if very small. She definitely ate this up. The 2018 version is awesome too, though I like the stronger "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE" scream in the 2015 version better personally. EDIT: I forgot to mention, but the cover was also briefly featured in American Horror Story: Hotel.

  35. I’m still obsessed with this clean, sleek, almost sterile aesthetic. I remember being so excited thinking that was the direction she was headed in because I just know Gaga could pull off a true modern disco era so effortlessly. Still hoping it happens one day. Also this paired with something like the Intel visuals would be the end of me.
