Gaga’s marketing strategy up until Mayhem was absolute ****. And even with Mayhem only the first 3-4 months were well executed and planned. Everything post Copacabana has been lukewarm at best from a strategic marketing pov. Taylor is more calculated but I personally have not paid attention to what happens once the album drop. My main issue with all pop stars is that once the album drops they forget about it. No one takes the time to do world building and really land the era besides its lead single.

I’m sorry to say this but her Eras Tour the highest grossing concert tour of all time (did it without dynamic pricing) included countries other than USA in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. She’s global and she is the biggest ever. She’s so big that even Gaga is closing her show with a song just because it sounded like a Taylor Swift song (That’s why I hate that song sorry not sorry).
