Madonna has urged Pope Leo XIV to visit Gaza and bring his "light to the children before it's too late". The US queen of pop shared her plea on social media, saying the pontiff was "the only one of us who cannot be denied entry." Her intervention came as the UK, EU, Australia, Canada and Japan issued a statement saying "famine is unfolding in front of our eyes" and urged action to "reverse starvation". "Most Holy Father, please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it's too late," Madonna posted on Instagram. "As a mother, I cannot bear to watch their suffering. "The children of the world belong to everyone. "You are the only one of us who cannot be denied entry."13 points

gaga, she feels less like a product and more like an artist idgaf that it's not absolutely perfect "why isn't she posting tour photos? where's the single? why is she doing arenas? why isn't she making every sale possible?" yada yada yada her team has some more alarming flaws, like abra missing a single cover, AI sloppy merch, lack of collector items but some y'all nit pick it to a point it sounds like you're on her payroll... at the end of the day, gaga is still hugely successful on a global scale, not everybody can say that12 points

As far as I remember, it went like this: Dope was performed on a YouTube event back in 2013 (very moving and deep performance by the way) and said event was live streamed. Then, parts of the event/performance were also played on YouTube as an ad, so it counted as streams for the song and helped it peak inside the top 10. I'm like 80% sure it happened like this but who really knows what tricks our memories plays9 points

The ever-loyal and wealthy fan base, Swifties are back in the game for their annual pocket-raid, as American bussinesswoman and singer Taylor Swift announced her new album last night. The announcement took her fans by surprise, who are suspected to be wealthy or executives in some company always willing to help their favorite singer. The singer of hits like "You Need To Calm Down" decided to put an end to the uncertainty that had been swirling around rumors of a possible comeback for months, showing us how the life of a businesswoman is one of constant work. And you? Are you ready to buy?8 points

Both are derivations of a superior song. Personally voted for Judas for nostalgia and deranged fan theories during that time. ”BTW motorcycle cover is not real and it’s one of the three betrayals she mentioned in the song!!!” Monsters were shtposting fan theories way before than Swifties.8 points

Using the pope to draw attention to the genocide is a very effective way to put pressure on Netanyahu and to draw attention to the fact that he's sick war criminal. Most of the world sees what happening, and more of the brainwashed are waking upp Using more explosive words just gives zionists the ammunition they need to turn this back on Madonna. Could she do more, yes. But why are criticizing Madonna for doing something while paying a forkload of money to go the Mayhem Ball of someone who is doing nothing?8 points

the fact people still don't understand that the entertainment industry is filled with sionists and that artists like madonna need to be extremely careful to avoid being blackballed by record label execs and branded as "antisemitic" for being anti-genocide is wild. it's already amazing that someone as high-profile as her was able to speak up like she did, but clearly her claiming she's not picking sides is evidence that there are bigger forces at play that most people are just completely blind to. but also – she really should go with the pope if she's that serious about it imo, expecting him to risk his life without willing to join in feels a bit meh to me. still kudos to her for speaking out.8 points

Well whatever Taylor’s doing is working because her albums always seem to debut better than anyone else in the music industry. yes I know she has gone off the deep end with variants- but regardless- it seems stanning Taylor swift is so rewarding and fulfilling and fun. She is constantly feeding her fans and they are loving it. They’re never complaining like us Gaga fans are, so clearly Taylor is doing something right because her fans always seem happy and gagged on the other hand- many of us Gaga Stan’s seem constantly frustrated, disappointed, and our expectations are rarely ever exceeded- when it comes to how her albums and singles are promoted7 points

Gaga’s marketing strategy up until Mayhem was absolute ****. And even with Mayhem only the first 3-4 months were well executed and planned. Everything post Copacabana has been lukewarm at best from a strategic marketing pov. Taylor is more calculated but I personally have not paid attention to what happens once the album drop. My main issue with all pop stars is that once the album drops they forget about it. No one takes the time to do world building and really land the era besides its lead single.7 points

Implying that Israel wouldn't straight up put one between Leo's eyes while calling him an antisemite for saying "hey, maybe don't kill kids" Anyway, good for her. Better late than never. Nothing will stop them but the literal least we can do is collectively shame them. When will other queens of pop7 points

I’m sorry to say this but her Eras Tour the highest grossing concert tour of all time (did it without dynamic pricing) included countries other than USA in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. She’s global and she is the biggest ever. She’s so big that even Gaga is closing her show with a song just because it sounded like a Taylor Swift song (That’s why I hate that song sorry not sorry).7 points

Madonna spoke up about the situation in Gaza the moment it happened in October 2023. She got some things wrong as lets face it, the propaganda went into overdrive and was very successful in October 2023, but she opposed this conflict since day 1. She's spoken out against the killing of Wadea Al-Fayoume in Chicago as well. All while on tour, all made the news. She turned up to Eurovision in Tel Aviv and deliberately had part of her performance highlight the need for peace and a 2 state solution. And this was in 2019, when the public conversation in the west around Israel & Palestine was significantly different. She did similar performances throughout her entire 2006 Confessions tour. The Palestinian flag is featured in the MDNA tour Nobody Knows Me Interlude. She's criticised all religious conflict and persecution on every tour since 9/11. She's never been quiet.6 points

I'm still going to give Madonna credit for this because this is an international story that brings attention and shame to Netanyahu.6 points

Because if she called it a genocide, the zionist propagandists can work with that. Drawing attention like she did is actually really effective and results are more important than anything else. And again, something is better than nothing. A fanbase that is paying outrageous money to see Lady Gaga do *nothing* isn't in a position to criticize Madonna who is doing SOMETHING. If you put your MONEY behind the people who do NOTHING And then complain about the people who are doing SOMETHING You have absolutely no credibility with me on the subject. I don't think Taylor Swift has done anything, or the other "queens" so it's not just Gaga, but again, Madonna is doing something that will be draw a lot of attention so is it so goddamn f*cking hard to just say, "good job, Madonna" instead of telling her how she should have done it better?5 points
