For everyone mad about Dope, most of you weren't there. I was, and it was beautiful and emotional. You could literally feel her reflecting back on all the years and how far she has come and how grateful she is for where she is now. She cried, we cried, it was truly touching. When the song started, I thought it would feel weird as an ending, but I was really wrong. It was triumphant. So glad to have experienced it.19 points

The dramatics over a song she plays at the end of her show People danced the whole night, I doubt the last 3 minutes are gon a ruin everything. And Dope is a great song idk what the issue is here16 points

It's certainly not a fun song, but I think it's incredibly celebratory. Watching the videos of her walking out and crying to it felt empowering imo. It's clear she's in a much better state (physically and mentally) compared to her ARTPOP days. The reason she chose ARTPOP for these post-encore songs is because she knows the fans love them, but I think more importantly, it's a reclaimation of the album after 10+ years. Dope is included in that.11 points

Random thought but seeing Gaga happy and sane walking with Dope playing on the background is sooo good to see. She's coming back from afar10 points

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8k7r2Yj/ The tears running down her face omg 🥺 It must have been hard to revisit this song. I’m so proud of her and love her so much.9 points

that's your opinion. I'm sure there are people in the audience glad that she played dope. there is no one thing fitting than the other. the song is about addiction, and seeing her owning and walking on that stage pain-free and sober is so heartwarming. she made each and every ARTPOP song special every night no matter if it's fast or slow or dancey or balled. people who don't get it just don't9 points

Dope haters can seethe It’s one of my favorite Gaga songs and y’all are fools for thinking she’d skip it when she played every other song on ARTPOP. It would be 10x weirder if she skipped it imho8 points

jeez yall are so dramatic about people predicting things as if it was that big of a deal, yeah I was wrong, idc, but one thing is for sure, to end the show, watching her jump around and going nuts is much more fitting than how it went tonight8 points

DWUW is only left but she won't do it, my guess is Chromatica is next8 points

Bringing a 1 yr old baby to a concert without ear defenders is negligence. Doesn't matter if its a festival or an arena show. Failing to take care of a child under your protection is negligence. I mean arena sound systems are bad for adult hearing let alone a literal baby.7 points

I’ve never listened to The Fame or Born This Way in full because I had these “rainy day” songs that I decided to not listen to in case I ever got depressed in the future and wanted my spirits lifted with a “new” Gaga song (new to me at least). My rainy day songs to this day include Disco Heaven, Americano, Bad Kids, and The Queen. I’ve just never thought to listen to them since and continue to skip them. People have told me that The Queen is the only one I’m really missing out on7 points

People acting like the entire show is ruined because she chose Dope, like 😭 She’s not going to play DWUW for obvious reasons, but she really has no reason not to play Dope. Imo, it would’ve been strange if she played every other song on ARTPOP and just skipped Dope because…it’s a sad ballad?? Like, that’s no reason to skip it at all.6 points
-
What a moment This is my favorite ARTPOP song! And I cried watching her cry to the sound of Dope. A lot of memories must have gone through her head. The thought that we could have lost her forever is devastating to me. It's so comforting to see that she overcame all the bad things that happened to her. Her strength and resilience are inspiring. The way this woman is a giant6 points

C2C and L4S, I understand, but if you haven't listened to one of the LG_ albums in full, you need to immediately revoke your stan card And yes, I'm including Harlequin in that because it is LG6.56 points

Yeah, I loved C2C, but LFS just didn’t click for some reason. But if she continues to do jazz projects in the future, Harlequin is the gold standard tbh6 points

• Reneé Rapp achieves her highest-charted album yet (and first top 10) as BITE ME bows at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 64,000 equivalent album units earned — the singer-songwriter-actress’ biggest week by units. Of that sum, album sales comprise 47,000 (her best sales frame ever, it debuts at No. 1 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 17,000 (equaling 21.85 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs, it debuts at No. 34 on Top Streaming Albums) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum. Rapp previously placed one entry on the Billboard 200, Snow Angel, which debuted and peaked at No. 44 in 2023. BITE ME’s first-week sales were bolstered by its availability across 11 vinyl variants (including signed editions) and five CD variants (including signed editions). x • Reneé Rapp has also landed her first ever UK Number 1 album with second studio release, Bite Me (15,643 sold - 5,821 CDs, 4,541 vinyl, 340 cassettes, 205 downloads, 4,736 streaming) x5 points

I would’ve never believed it if anybody told me that Judas and Bloody Mary would be the most popular BTW songs after 10+ years. That’s what happens when you release timeless music.5 points
