  1. A fan who purchased the magazine from Amazon has it and shared it in his stories! in it she says she wants kids and she also says she worries she is viewed as boring now BUT she is also grateful she is viewed that way since she was living on the edge too much "Her influences for Mayhem include '90s alternative, electro-grunge, Prince and Bowie melodies, guitar and attitude, funky bass lines, French electronic dance, and analog synths'" Full Article: https://imgur.com/a/elle-9biqVSP Images:

  3. Last year, Lady Gaga hosted an exclusive listening event in London for her new album MAYHEM, inviting a curated mix of indie industrial musicians, French DJs, and garage-rock artists. The intimate gathering allowed Gaga to showcase each track individually. Attendees praised the album, calling it a significant artistic transformation for her. “The album is surreal. The beats and synthesizers reminded me of Born This Way, but the vocals here are the big surprise. She seems very happy with this album, I think it’s her favorite. Her excitement filled the room as she explained the songs to us. Fans are going to love it.” https://x.com/gaganotify/status/1884305636034502989

  5. Ya’ll, not to be dramatic, but she looks the most happy/peaceful/human she’s been in years. She seems genuinely happy talking about the music, and also seems like she is so willing to talk about her career in a peaceful and analytical way, which I feel she has avoided in the past. SO, let’s not rip her to shreds for every little thing she does anymore, okay? This is the Gaga that’s going to provide for us long term, not mentally unwell Gaga. She deserves happiness, so let’s encourage her. Let’s make LG7 a happy moment for her. She clearly is working on tuning out the noise of the GP and making more for herself and her fans, so let’s support that. Also, her reply about what would she tell the Gaga from LG1: “Don’t put so much pressure on yourself” is very indicative of where she is now. She doesn’t want to beat herself up over her art, so let’s not beat her up over it as well.

  6. She's so right about the "disease" spelling. Everyone was like "ideases" or "seaside" lmao

  8. I think she's finally found a balance between separating her art and her personal life. I don't remember when this was exactly—I think it was during the HoG press tour—but she spoke about how for the longest time, she let her art consume her in ways that were not healthy. However, over time, she began to find a way to make art in a healthier, more productive manner. I think that's why some people (*cough cough* many people here) think she's become "boring" or "uncreative" in the past few years. She's not exactly wearing the most ridiculous things now just to get Starbucks, and people miss that, but honestly, as long as she's happy what does it matter? People also grow and change over time. Y'all cannot expect her to be the same woman she was when she released TF/TFM; that's completely unrealistic. She's letting the art speak for itself, and so far, it's damn good. Since DWAS, everything she's released and teased up until now sounds and looks fantastic. MAYHEM's gonna be a stellar album and we should savor it because it might be the last one we get for a while.

  10. Parris Goebel, the choreographer of the Disease MV, has shared the MAYHEM trailer in her IG stories. I think it is now kinda confirmed she is Gagas new choreographer, and Disease was not just a one time thing!

  11. She has worked hard, she deserves to settle down and have a family! We will be here when she returns for LG8. tbh, we’re all older and more boring Edit: writing LG8 is weird af

  14. It flashes throughout the last quarter of the video. Text says: "The 7th studio album. Featuring Disease, Abracadabra, Vanish Into You & the global #1 hit Die With A Smile"

  15. Well, it looks like Richy might’ve actually been replaced. I hope it’s true. Other than the fact that he was a very questionable individual, his choreography was awful I liked Parris’ work on Disease, so I’m excited to see what else she has in store for MAYHEM!

  16. I feel bad for her. She clearly still has the exact same artistic vision, she just isn't willing to sacrifice her sanity or mental health for it anymore (And I mean, thank god). She was someone who would die for her art, and now she values her life more. That comes with age, and finding things of meaning in your life. We should be grateful for that for her, and I hope she knows that she made the right choice. I feel like this era (along with Harlequin) has been her playing with her artistry without giving into the pressure, which VERY much excites me. She is finding a balance.

  17. Honestly love that for her. She grew up, she changed, and that's perfectly okay. She is doing what's best for her health. Both mental and physical. If that's boring, then oh well!

  18. Oh it ended so fast 😭 i could watch her talk for hours

  19. The fact that the choreography in Disease is so minimal yet so good speaks volumes and I’m so glad she’s the new choreographer

  20. Really? Government Hooker? That’s the song she thinks we wanted as a single the most?

  21. also about the music! (not visible in the insta story but shared by someone else) "Her influences for Mayhem include '90s alternative, electro-grunge, Prince and Bowie melodies, guitar and attitude, funky bass lines, French electronic dance, and analog synths'"

  22. -she's been wearing a dark wig pretty consistently since TCB film, including JFAD press tour -she was brunette not too long ago in House of Gucci -we already had the jarring experience during ARTPOP because she had NEVER had consistent dark hair up until then

  25. Lmao at some little managers demanding “dark/experimental” but got shaky for Abracadabra as single because it’s not “radio friendly”

  27. It’s a documented fact. It hit #1 on both Billboards global charts, the Global 200 and also the Global Excluding US charts. It was number one for 7 weeks too! Weird to try to be sarcastic about an actual, provable fact. Try to hate better next time “ LOL” Receipts: https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/lady-gaga-bruno-mars-die-with-a-smile-global-charts-number-one-seventh-week-1235800117/

  28. I mean, Government Hooker is great but we begged so hard for Dance in the Dark, Scheiße, Heavy Metal Lover, Sexxx Dreams, Gypsy… the list is long and Government Hooker is not even in top 3

  29. LG7 is “dark, poetry, hard”. I got what I wished for. Was really worried about the lyricism for no reason.

  31. Wow…those of you arguing about songs you’ve never even heard are totally ridiculous. How about just wait until you hear them before deciding what is good single material. Jesus

  37. WHY NOBODY TOLD ME SHE HAD SIGNED COPIES ON HER WEBSITE!!!! You baguettes clogged up this sight with Mayhem this and Mayhem that BUT nobody said a peep about the signed copies. They’re sold out now. No no no Dios mio por que?!?

  38. Lollllll are you actually hearing yourself rn? We've literally only heard 5 seconds of the song.. how on earth are you judging on that alone? It's like only hearing 5 seconds of Bad Romance and saying "all she says is Ra Ra, it's not suitable for the gp"

  39. "it's no secret that Gaga gets well with old people" this line of the article is SENDING ME

  40. The way the ELLE interview shades Taylor. “Unlike other tortured poets and their 31-track albums, Gaga is a ruthless self-editor. 'You just snip anything that's not good enough. It’s kind of like that wall of colour I was describing where I go, 'Okay, I could see how we could take that out and then this energy could move like this."'

  41. I mean I just respect gagas vision. This is what she wanted and she shouldn't change it because some gay on the internet doesn't like it.

  43. It's not a coincidence that she named this song Zombieboy and not Zombiefied, she didn't get the chance to tribute him properly through the years after his death. I don't know how much the song is really representing him, but the title itself is a nice tribute to memory him.
