The fact she's highly rumoured filming a music video this week, could actually be a tease from Abel who is also highly rumoured being featured on LG7. Could the Gaga / Abel collab be next single ?

Well she only collabs with artists she loves and actually connects real good with. That's why all of her collab songs ends up being HUGE (Telephone, ROM, DWAS, Shallow). While other pop stars tank hard with very forced and underwhelming collabs Katy Perry on ALL of her collabs the last decade, Beyoncé / Miley, Madonna / Maluma, Madonna / Sam Smith and more more. You just can't create magic when there's no alchemy. I'm just leaving this here.

Gaga was vying for the halftime show spot when Joanne was announced and In Five Foot Two she’s heard saying “I think we’ll get it”, meaning it was out of her hands. She did what was in her control to to clinch the spot, but it was not a guarantee. For all we know the album announcement, and the Americana themes might have been the final punch to get her the show.

What those losers won't understand is that some fandoms are very close to each others cause their favs collaborated together. Like Sabrina and Taylor fandoms, or Lana and Taylor fandoms, or Barbz and Arianators, etc... Some popstars have friendships with other popstars and that boost their popularity and make spill ppl about gossips. Which isn't the case of Gaga who used to make few collabs in the 2010s and she simply isn't very close to any other popstar or celebrity (except for Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars recently). We don't see her hanging out with other celebrities and ppl don't care about her private life, cause she built her notoriety on her weird public apparitions. That is why they will hardly associate "Heavy Metal Lover" that is viral on TikTok, to Lüc Carl cause they don't know who he is, but the song was dedicated to him. I think that Gaga does good choices of collab cause they managed to have a great chemistry with Ari and Bruno. I wouldn't immediately get how much they could be compatible until I heard their music and saw them interact. Their styles seemed a bit different until they created something together. Even if they don't hang out together irl, the fans know that they share a good chemistry. The Weeknd and Gaga are super compatible. Like, even if there weren't those rumours of a collaboration, I know that The Weeknd and Gaga are like the genderbend of each other. Both share a very dark style full of symbolisms, both experimented synth-pop and 80s sonorities, both have this kind of powerful persona, both played in movies/series, they have the same artistic inspirations (MJ, Prince,...), etc... Gosh I hope their chemistry on their new track will be insane cause there's so much poential.

i personally feel that ariana and bruno are very well-respected artists and both collabs worked really well, gaga would never collab with them if she didn't feel the same imo. and what do you mean by basic? Because they are pop stars? That's sounds a bit reductive
