Girrrl, J-Pop Is one of the most diverse, misunderstood genres of established music other than "Indie" Gaga is inspired by it and i doubt half of the people that listen to her music would even recognize a J-pop inspired song if she were to release one. There's nuance to it, lol. This is great because ARTPOP has some jpop influence in its beats. And she always appealed to Asian fans the most. First the Crayola POP controversy and now this Hatsune Miku is MASSIVE in Japan, and is a MASSIVE DEAL for music in general. She is literally revolutionary - she doesn't exist, yet is capable of creating and performing music just like a real artist. Japanese culture is great and I'm sure it'll be interesting but I was a bit disenchanted when I heard Hatsune was opening the show in Atlanta. I'd rather see crayon pop...
