Mainstream music customers who don't stan for any artist in particular, but buy whatever is hot, aka THE GENERAL PUBLIC, did not even care about ARTPOP. Sure, some people who visit online news sites may have been talking about ARTPOP, but not in general.

ARTPOP stirred a controversy for its underperformance amongst the FAN BASES, and not the GP.

And stop saying IFPI reports shipments when they clearly report sales. If they were shipments to retailers many numbers on their list wouldn't make sense.

I hope people realise that the Gaga haters used to always believe IFPI as sales and now they are saying it's shipments just to undermine Gaga.

As for the other countries not reported by mediatraffic (goes to show how unreliable it is and you little Flopsters sucking his diq) maybe you should read on how countries outside the major music markets have increased in music sales compared to the major ones which are declining. It is very possible that 600k sales originated outside the countries reported by mediatraffic.

The point is why are you believing a guy in a basement just because he posts numbers of some doth rise as opposed to the leading reliable source in the music industry? Stop arguing on numbers, this is pure fact not opinions, if IFPI meant shipments they would have ****ing said so.

Gaga is labelled a "flop" this era because, compared to her previous sales, the sales are VERY underwhelming... The decline is hugely alarming.. Katy Perry's numbers have always been small (TD sold 190K opening week, Prism sold 280k) so it's easier to beat them but for gaga, who has gone from a platinum opening week, to about  25% of that (OW), people will definitely label her a flop.. With that being said, gaga has a lot of talent, so she can &  WILL come back with a stronger era! The GP loves a good comeback ;)
