Pop, by definition, means popular. In this day and age, popular means top 40. Lana barely ever cracks the top 40. Pop music is made for the masses, and Lana's music is for a targeted audience. You're clearly just trying to attach a label to her to in-turn bring her down, but it won't work. Her fans don't feel "special" or "alternative". They like her ****ing music. Being a product does not say anything about its worth. I like Gaga & Lana and what they produce. The Gaga & Lana we know are not real, but what's behind them is & that's why I like them. I am willing to buy into the illusion because I know that if you open up to their work, they are real & they make me happy.
