Kenon Astro 0
This is an important message I want to spread on Gaga's behalf. Gaga has told the audience at the SXSW concert to put their phones down and enjoy the show. You can see her strong disappointment when she sees so many phones up, so many people fixated on recording the show to post on facebook/twitter/instagram. Technology is negatively impacting us. Back then at concerts, everyone didn't have video phones, and you can see them enjoying the show and truly being one with the performer. Now, we live in an age where going to concerts isn't about watching the concert anymore, it's about proving to your friends that you were there, or how close you were to a famous person. I have watched the Roseland Ballroom full show and I was disgusted at the amount of phones the VIP crowd shoved in Gaga's face as she performed piano 3 feet from them. It's utterly rude. Gaga must've been very irrirated and disappointed, if you could see behind her shades. Here are proof of what I'm talking about. It's understandable that these people wanted pictures because they paid for it, but recording and taking constant pictures throughout both songs? Why don't they put the phones down and enjoy the show? It's going to be Livestream and on Youtube, professionally recorded! Why need their low-quality recordings? You can even see that some of them aren't even looking at her! They're looking at their phones! a mob of phones shoved in her face a girl fixated on her phone, not looking at Gaga even when she's right there! a guy staring at his phone, not even enjoying the performance a girl so focused on pinching in and out of her phone to record right a guy taking a long time looking at his phone, probably going over pictures he took...instead of respecting and enjoying Gaga. woman checking her pictures...not even paying attention. However, this girl does it right! If only the crowd was like her, how HAPPY Gaga would be. If you support this message, please keep this thread alive so others may see it. We have to be respectful of Gaga, guys. Take a few pictures, then put the phones down and enjoy. Don't let technology ruin our short, precious moments with Gaga. Blue Jeans 3,815
Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

No Angel 128
I know what she means. She wants us to be in the moment and cherish the music, fans, and the euphoric atmosphere! But if I paid $100+ from my own bank account to see her ass, I'm gonna take all the pictures and videos I want. I wish Gaga would try to yell at me for doing that. Lucifer 1,987
I gotta admit that I didn't read the whole post. But I have never understood why people use their phones on concerts? When I'm at her concerts I usually snap only a few pics to show my friends how close I was. I'm there in the moment. A camera can't capture that.. So just be in the moment girl
VISION 52
The girl rocked never saw her with her phone, and she really enjoyed the live music
CoffeeBean 0
I agree 100%, pisses me the **** off every time I go to a concert. I am on the floor for her show I am going to in May. I can guarantee some idiots will have their phones up the entire damn concert. MESS. Honestly if you feel the need to post **** all over social media just for validation you are pathetic and need to get an ACTUAL life. How bout some self confidence. People need to stop relying on external validation and validate THEM ****ING SELVES.
Morphine Prince 106,188
Live in the moment, people! It's ok to take some few shots and maybe a small recording but you are there to enjoy the show and have fun! NOT create a documentary about your trip to a Gaga concert. Our generation is so fixated on documenting every single thing we do.
Brainiac 10,940
I agree completely with this thread. It's a shame really that so many people find it more important to prove that they were there instead of just enjoying the moment with the performer. I admit that at Roseland I did take a few pictures. But most of the time my phone was away and I just enjoyed watching Gaga for the time she was on stage. One Five Ten 70
Calm your actual farm. People can do what they want at a concert they paid money to attend. Whether you use a phone or not, it's up to you. /endthread
Memo 176
I think it's disrespectful to be all focused on recording Like, yeah take a pic or two but goddamn it enjoy the damn show. I loved how she screamed at everyone at SXSW to put their phones down (yet they were still recording ) + you can feel that last girl's happiness through the screen it's so cute imagine being so close to the person that helped you through the most rough times of your life, the person that you look up for her creativity and talent and that inspire you to make better things
