Arturo 40,746
Yeah, some stations are cruel. But you can't really blame them for not wanting to play a song in the 500's on iTunes. remember when they shunned her for a good half of the applause era? Yup. Then radio was forced to play it as it was selling 100,000+ a week in the U.S and was in the Top 5 on iTunes. Radio has no incentive to play G.U.Y unfortunately. versacepromises 0
Here in Arizona, radios here only plays DWUW or Applause. Because everyone is used to those singles or never request G.U.Y since most of the people don't hear a new song. They will if its on the radio. feelitinmybones 0
I know! It makes me soooooo angry. I remember even when Born This Way was released (the song) a radio station posted on their facebook apologizing for playing it so much and saying they have no choice in the matter. Elizabeth 450
I don't know much about charts and radio plays but I do find it interesting that eve six years after Just Dance was released Gaga's still 'fighting' to get her music played on the radio (although not in the same sense as she was in the beginning). I feel like that's how it's always gonna be. There'll be phases where she gets played a lot and other times when she doesn't.
Blue Jeans 3,815
Don't cry, my little Blue Jeans non mais serieux j'ai deja entendu Birthday sur Nrj au moins 4 fois, et G.U.Y. jamais ? :dead: Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

LaLuna 12,732
The problem is that commercial radio stations only play hits, so if a song is not doing well on the charts, there's a good chance it won't get played on the radio. That's just how it is.
