Schwerk 7,243
I just gave her another fan. The guy I was staying with in NYC was so excited by my stories, he got tickets to the final Roseland show and had the time of his life. I then got him ARTPOP as a goodbye gift. Don't forget a lot of people still don't understand her. It will take time. How often don't I hear people say I wish she'd still play songs at the piano like she did back then with pokerface. And she does it all the time. She did a ton of gorgeous acoustic performances these past few months, but the 'crazy' stuff gets the attention. They don't know the artist, just see the gimmick thats presented in the media. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
Tropico 4,145
If her real power is touring, than why is artRave going to gross less compared to her previous efforts?. I'm sorry, this is far from truth. "Us" are getting fewer with every day. Something has to happen and it better happen soon, or else it'll be too later. I love Gaga and I'm really worried for her future career because I know she wants to successful as she was back then, even if she won't admit it. Are you f--king kidding me . The tour hasn't even started and you're comparing it to tours which have already ended. BTWB and TMB went on for around 2 years and your comparing them to a tour which has yet to start? Live Nation confirmed it's doing really well even for a tour which hasn't started. She is slaying. If you maybe gave her a chance to start the tour without all this controling attitude s--t then maybe she could impress people with her excellent show which'll convince people to buy tickets. And Gaga is rich as f--k. She doesn't need to worry about fading away. She has the funds to sustain her musical career. All major popstars had albums and eras where they flopped. MDNA flopped. At one point Britney flopped with her album and then they said she was over but with all her money she isn't far from it so she came back. Again and again. Beyonce flopped with '4'. 20/20 Exp. Didn't do so great. One of the boys isn't even acknowledged ass much as PRISM and TG with like Hot n Cold being like the single which made people consider buying the album. It happens to the best of them. You should stop trying to manager her career and just be a good fan. To all those prasing MDNA over BTW I'm pretty sure album sales clearly show BTW did better. Madonna is old and forgotten. I'm sick of Gaga being compared to her. BTW vs MDNA. PRISM vs ARTPOP. It's bulls--t. Fucking quit it. Madonna is old now but she still makes music. Calm down. Lady Gaga ISN'T going anywhere any time soon. And I really appretiate the idea of what the author was going for in this thread! :applause: ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Tropico 4,145
She wants success, face it. And you would know her defition of success because you're some sorta mind reader? Gaga just wants funds to continue making music. And if she just gets by wih being at the bottom of Hot 100 she is fine. All she wants money for is to impress us. That's why she went broke during TF era. She spent all her money on the stage, dancers, lighing, clothes etc. She doesn't really need to get #1 all the time. She just wants to perform. And obviously she'd like #1 but she doesn't obsess the way an idiot like you would think. Get you're ahit together. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

Exactly, how the hell is she going to get her music across and produce stuff without money? Her job is to sell stuff, but her passion is to make music for the fans, perform, tour the world, etc BUT SHE NEEDS A ****ING JOB TO BE ABLE TO LIVE HER PASSION, that doesnt mean she cares about money, she needs it, why cant people see that? Let's not act like the artRave is going to do as well as the MB or even the BTWB Did I say anything about an artist not being allowed to have up n downs? Nope! I hope and I do believe Gaga will bounce back to the top in the future, but it's up to her - and as of now, it's seems like she didn't choose yet what road she'll take. nota_bene 6
Album sales are generally a good indicator as to how a tour will do. Just looking at the sales of The Fame/The Fame Monster vs. Born This Way, it's easy to see why the last tour didn't do very well. Judging by how ARTPOP has done in sales, the next tour is going to be awful when it comes to attendance and gross earnings. (Also, skipping an entire section of the US certainly won't help. I won't be going this time around because I don't have the money or vacation time to fly to Chicago or Dallas just to support an album that I hated.) Quite honestly, her last two albums have sucked. There's no "soul" to them like her first two albums. She seems to want to outdo herself with each new thing she does and it's a huge detriment to her. We know she can produce excellent music and write great songs. But her whole outlook appears to be bigger, crazier, and flashier compared to her early days. Frankly I don't see her topping the charts like she used to until she stops being such a try-hard.

Frankly I don't see her topping the charts like she used to until she stops being such a try-hard. You shouldn't go and "frankly" why would you even consider it? I would never spend money, time or energy on an artist I hadn't enjoyed in four years! What are you doing with your life, that you are still following an artist who made music that "sucked" for the past four years? By the way, Gaga's tour is doing great. It will end up in the top 10 grossing tours for 2014. She also has sold 2.3 million albums worldwide in 2013, placing her album in the top 10. What the album sales tell us, is that the tour will be successful on a worldwide level, so your little prediction (without any basis other than you think she has sucked for four years) is wrong! Don't waste your money! There are plenty of other fans buying tickets for the tour and I'm sure it will be a helluva concert!

SHE. IS. ALREADY. F-ING. RICH. She can afford to make her own music! But it's not like she'll have to because she is still on top of the world! And anyway let's say in some weird world she isn't likeed anymore by anyone she's a smart gal and she'll invest in businesses and grow her empire in the business world then make enough money to start making music. She cares about the charts only to make music! I know how it works I'm not an idiot! ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

It was revolved around fame and money? BTW is the greatest album she ever made and you're just one of the fools who won't let it go of the early days. BTW sales did great by the way. She hasn't sold that much with first week sales ever!!! And the tour did f--king great! Forbes wrote a whole article about how because of the ball (even though it never fisnished) she grossed the most in touring between a couple of years in the biz! Fucking get over the olden days and accept that BTW was her best album lyrically and meaning wise. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
