Tropico 4,145
Don't worry guys Gaga is fine. She's a warrior queen. The stuff we've seen are all just precautions so nothing bad happens. For any athletes here you know that one coach who always cares more about the warming up and cool down strectches more than anything? That's what Gaga's doctor has to ensure she does. We don't want her breaking her hip again so she just has to make sure to keep it cool, not go over-board and do the proper the proper pre-excercie routines. And she visited the doctor just to get it checked up. Routine check up. Nothing major. Like we all have to once every few months. :) ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Whispering 18,865
I don't think she's back to her peak performance yet, there's also a question if she'll ever be. I mean, look at Britney she hasn't danced the same since her knee injury when she was filming Outrageous. Gaga was trying hard with the choreography at Roseland but vocals suffered a little during Black Jesus/Monster, sounded out of breath. Cardio/Rehearsals won't be the best thing if the pain is flaring up again either Britney isn't back to her peak performance because of the side-effects of the medication she has to take. She's been dead-eyed since her breakdown years ago. Gaga's vocals were great! They are stronger than they have ever been.
Whispering 18,865
Yeah the shoes are a big part of it, but of course the choreographer is to blame cause when you're choreographing for a pop star's huge world tour it's your job to ensure the dancing is sustainable without causing strain and that they're in good enough shape to handle it Or it could be the fact that she has tested positive for Lupus, which is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect many different body systems  including your joints. Injuries of this nature are common among athletes and dancers. It is no ones "fault" that these injuries occur.
Celina 118
I'm not too worried... This shows that she's taking care of herself and not hiding anything this time, which is great.
wahkeenasitka 1,995
Spent all day warming up + stretching my hip, its a lot of work keeping it strong and not sore but I'm having so much fun on stage again!  Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) https://twitter.com/ladygaga/statuses/453313476736581633
J e s s e 458
The meltdowns if she cancells the tour..... "They have as much in common as dinosaurs and goldfish: the cracker kind!" - Penelope Garcia
wahkeenasitka 1,995
yeah, she's gonna have to get really creative with taking extreme self-care and nurturing her body all the time when she's touring... I am worried for her too. I would tell her to perform without dancing. Perform with the piano more, dancing significantly less. Eventually as her body ages, she'll probably have to completely retire from being pop and go more strictly piano & ensemble so she doesn't have to dance. It will be so much easier on her body if she just sits or stands in front of a microphone, or sits at a piano. Or she just needs to quit wearing those mega high stiletto shoes, they are going to ruin her feet, knees, hip & spine.
Katie14 4,828
That hip is going to hurt to her ALWAYS. The replacement was so she would be able to walk again. Look at Britney, almost the same thing but with her knee. I dont think its that bad but I think her hip will always be fragile and weaker than it was. She will likely have flairups and little issues with it for the rest of her life. Usually when you have a bad injury and need surgery, your body never completely goes back. MahoTheMnstr 141
if she wouldn't run like a crazy person on stage she would probably be ok, i really don't think richie told her to do all that running on you and i for the btwb she would always fall at the end... i'm sure she'll be more precautious now though

Nobody should be blaming richie all the extra movements she did was way more high impact than any choreography she did.

MTE Honestly, I don't know why she insists on wearing them, she could wear normal shoes and still look fab without risking any more serious injuries. So at least she is changing that some instead of massive shoes EVERY day

So at least she is changing that some instead of massive shoes EVERY day Yeah I did notice that she wears flat shoes more often now, which is a good thing, but she still wears ridiculously high heels a lot and surely her doctor told her that it's not a good, especially for someone who had a hip injury. Then again, being the same height as Gaga, I understand that it's nice to look taller sometimes
