I think it will most definitely debut with more.

I'm just gonna predict 100k and see what happens and hopefully be happy

Albums sales are **** right now. Coldplay's been the highest debut this year, and while their numbers were impressive it's surprising the the top debut for more than half of the year is under 400,000.

the delusion

it aint gonna do anything near that.

I'm not delusional honey.

He's the one one who said that ARTPOP will sell less than 300,000 copies.

So there. He works for some company linked to some labels or something.

You could've at least disagreed with this, not saying "the delusion".

Mmkay? Bye :later:

Why does everybody like Anaconda here?

Did you even listen to the ****ing song :rip: the chorus, the verses, the instrumental :toofunny:

THANK YOU. It's such a cheap song. Some people here act like it's some sort of musical masterpiece like holy ****ing ****. :wtf:

The album sales are really low but anyway C2C can top Arianna's number. C2C relies on a different kind of audience and a very loyal audience actually condiering that most of them are either big Jazz fans that don't lose any Jazz events, Tony Bennet followers and Little Monsters. I predict around 150k tbh but I really don't know what will happen in the end...

I agree but even loyal audiences aren't buying albums as much as they were last year or two years ago.

Duets II debuted with just under 400,000 and featured a long list of acclaimed singers, so I'm gonna go with a 100-150k estimate for Cheek to Cheek and if it's in that range or higher I will be impressed. Regardless this era is about a lot more than chart success. Obviously her least chart relevant album.

Agreed.

:) Her management has been so on top of things this era. I'm very impressed with the way they rolled out the singles and album information. They've snagged a few magazines and even a clothing endorsement as well as numerous interviews and performances/events. Chart wise they also ensured that they would get two #1s on the jazz chart.

Hope they can be as organized for Gaga's next solo endeavor.

Yeah, the promo is very subtle but still existent.

And by the way, I think that the so-called Adele Effect will make C2C sell a lot more. In 2011 albums started selling a lot more (especially in the UK) thanks to people who bought 21 and at the same time bought a few other albums. I think that C2C is more likely to be bought by Adele-buyers than a Madonna album. C2C could eventually reach 1M+ WW :excited2:

Yes, the promo was on point.

Sis we usually agree but take a seat, Anaconda is addictive, the chorus is funny, the verses are catchy (boy toy named Troy used to live in Detroit) and the instrumental is glorious.
