Luc 4,775
The UK is no longer even the third largest music market in the world in terms of overall revenue. Germany has surpassed it in 2013. It'll be best for TS to top the UK with SIO. In that way, she'd have at least one #1 in 4 of the biggest markets (the other three are US, CAN, AUS). Way to go global for her! Here are the latest rankings of the world's biggest music markets according to IFPI, as of April 2014: 1. US 2. Japan 3. Germany 4. UK 5. France 6. Australia 7. Canada 8. Italy 9. Brazil 10. South Korea (new entry, replacing the Netherlands) Here's the article for those who are interested. It'd be more interesting to make a list of the countries most relevant for Western superstars like Gaga, Katy, Rih and Taylor I'd say: 1. US 2. UK 3. Australia 4. Canada 5. Japan 6. Germany 7. Brazil 8. Mexico 9. Italy 10. Sweden

Sweden Agreed with the top 4, but I'd probably put Germany above Japan, considering it has been more generous in actually giving #1 hits to them, particularly to Gaga and Rihanna. But Japan is more generous in giving artists money. One album sale in Japan is ~30$, while in Germany it's ~20$. And next to that, Japan has longetivity that is impossible in any other country besides South Korea. WANEGBT was Top 20 for like 2 years (currently #17 combined on iTunes), and occassionally returned to the Top 3.
