TV is watched more than radio is listened to here, so I assume that the GP is aware of Shakira, especially considering I rarely watch TV and have seen her on about 5 commercials (most for this yoghurt drink) already. I think you are giving her too much credit. The last thing I knew she had coming out was the rihanna collab. I have over 1,000 fb friends and haven't heard a single thing about her since. That's why radio play her songs a lot now, she build that with TD singles, Roar and Dark Horse. She usually has an exceptional iTunes chart performanceAnd then why Gaga hasn't though? BTW was huge ans they didn't play Judas and I can understand why. Then they played TEOG eventhough not as much on Pop even if the song was selling well and then they played dust to You and I and MTN, why? Then Applause did great and they have a chance to DWUW and even if the song didn't smash it didn't also flop and suddenly they decided to stop playing GUY. I wouldn't call it unfair when Pop radio used to hand out Gaga a record-setting streak of #1s back in 2009-2010. If only they opted to maximize the radio support she had then by not being too edgy, I don't see any other reason why they wouldn't support her in the same way they're supporting Rihanna and KP all these years. Gaga chose to be edgy and sometimes pushy, which I personally like, and KP chose to follow her own lane of collaborating with the hit-making producers. They did this with BTW Era as well and don't start the Judas controversy excuse because TEOG did very well and they still didn't give airplay to You and I and MTN. Been one of my favorites from the album since it launched. Paramore haven't had a top 10 before? Not even The Only Exception? That was pretty big. I love Ain't It Fun - one of my favourites from the album. They deserve the success so much. Also, pretty surprised by how Birthday's doing. I thought it'd be a big hit...
