What if next album is produced by Fernando?

Yes but Fernando produced Stars Are Blind by Paris Hilton. It's a good song, but it's definetly generic.

Americano is kinda weak in production and Fashion Of His Love sounds pretty dated and even recycled.

Earthquake and Love Is a Suicide (by Natalia Kills) have many similarities with Dance In The Dark.

A different and experimental sound doesn't equates to a good song.

So what? Dr. Luke produced all of Teenage Dream and Kelly Clarkson's tracks, which all sound the same, then produced Dark Horse, which was a complete shift in his production :awkney:

A producer can produce GP friendly tracks or an experimental track and it doesn't have to be a hit for you to recognize it's a good song, which is subjective anyways :awkney:

I don't know. It just never sounded new or fresh to me.

Probably because it wasn't as "busy" as the rest of the album, or maybe something along those lines?

Because he recycled it from an unreleased track and didn't even bother to change some things to make it different :emma:

I seriously hope we get to see a lot more of him in the next album  pls gags

I don't think she knows what ARTPOP is and so nobody knows

Yeah, she's incorrectly and correctly referenced some earlier paintings and mythology, but so what?

How is that artistic? Is that not just a reference? :awkney:

Maybe I'm missing stuff

Her explanation is that it's putting art in pop culture [pop music] by referencing artists.. in reverse to Warhol who put pop culture figures like Marilyn in fine art paintings. She also adds other stuff in like putting artists in the forefront of the creation in the commercial world as apposed to their output controlled by corporations, but I really think on releasing the album that first sentence was the crux of what she was going with... but IMO it's not really much of an idea.. or at least the execution

Guessing your talking about her birth of venus/venus de milo oopsy.

Well her reasoning for that, go back to the first sentence^ but indeed.. yeah... I could say a lot more on that ARTPOP ideology

But she hasn't really done that, just a few times

Even the videos show minimal artistic references sadly

Idk I just don't feel it this era

I'm not saying that Fernando is generic. I'm just saying that you can't be sure he's going to do something experimental or good since he has some hits and misses.

You said that Zedds productions sound the same but some of Garibays productions are pretty similar too.

This is awful

I don't ever want to her that he is a good producer again :emma:

How awkward is this :awkney:

Exactly, and like I said.. she went from doing that.. ArtRave with exhibition / posing for Rob Wilson as famous paintings + dressing up in Mona Lisa/ as Picasso to prove she's ARTPOP :awkney: .. to then - IMO being normal and cute and happy and more 'marketable' shall we say - with SNL/GMA Wizard of Oz/AMAs..

it's like ....

But yeah I agree I don't really feel the concept too much.. her other albums had themes that she could roll with.. but with this it's mainly just.. the world of art.. so it's a bit.. mainly referential to prove it... that's not to say I hate everything this era or dislike everything she's done

One Five Ten

I feel like Gaga has been pretty consistent with graduating one of the supporting producers on each album to main producer on her next. Fernando worked a bit on TFM but then took the reigns on BTW. White Shadow worked on BTW but then took the reigns on AP. I feel like the next album will be really Zedd heavy.

Probably more Madeon heavy. Zedd is out there forging some kind of David Guetta-esque career for himself now and producing an entire Gaga album where he doesn't get obvious credit to the GP would be detrimental to his own star-power. Wouldn't be surprised if they keep working together though or if Gaga features on a song of his (which really would be her biggest shot at a #1 if she did care about charts, which she doesn't).

And for the record, Fernando is my favourite Gaga producer. He slayed on BTW>>>>>

Far more hits than misses compared to Zedd, as well as far less copy/pasting

This. I noticed about this too, but didn't know how to put it into words. I like how you use the term, graduating. I feel like Madeon could be runner up for executive producer for the next next Act or album.
