She just said, like many times before, that she supports gay people through her music and shows and that will remain that way! I know that she supports them and there is nothing at all that I feel bothered about. It's just specifically, I think if you put it in a box and label it down in such a way you kinda put it out of the center yourself, if you see what I mean? By setting any one group apart, it sort of reinforces the distinction, almost as if minorities want to encourage their own marginalization from society. Be proud of being who you are. You are a person, far more that a label of gay, straight, or whatever s-xuality can describe. Why continue living our lives like we are only pieces of people just to fit in with a group? And I agree, a lot of people will be turned off by a Lady Gaga concert (for example) because she promotes gayness in many ways! But I guess she just feels like she could make a change if she doesn what she does and that is nothing but fighting for equality of everyone! Of course she doesn't hate straight people or anything like that... It's just that gay people currently don't have the same rights as straight people do so there is really no need in her "promoring" straigh people! All she was saying is that that statement kinda makes the straight fans feel isolated. Which I agree with. She's an LGBT rights activist sure, but she doesn't have to label her all her products and her career as 'gay' to prove it. This isolates the straight fans.
