codymonster 8,595
So...what's the alternative? Don't promote on late night TV? Everyone else does, why shouldn't Gaga? Do you have another brilliant suggestion for promo, because the other two you suggested weren't going to work? What do YOU think Gaga should be doing with her few hours of time she has at this moment? Remember, she has to stay in the New York area....so what could she do in or around NYC, at this exact time, that wouldn't be a "waste of time" in your expert opinion? The logic and truth in this post is beautiful People complain and don't even think before posting.

You're passive agressive tone, while you may think it effective and "powerful" in your mind, is actually laughable and nobody in real life will ever take you seriously if this is how you behave and speak. Just a tip. The Today Show has a concert series every week that she could be doing, and so does GMA, Watch What Happens Live is always in New York, and if she actually did a LIVE appearance and not that prerecorded mess from last time, she would actually get good promo from that because the audience is people who will actually buy her music. Every late night show she has been on has done nothing for the album. 40 year olds don't care about gaga's music unless it's on the radio. She can also easily create a commercial like Katy Perry did to promote the album. There are many more things to do in New York than a 6 minute spot at midnight. But I wouldn't expect you to know that because where are you from again? Not New York.

Second of all, the alternatives you mentioned are hardly 'more effective' than letterman. Nothing competes with The Voice. Especially not watch what happens live Take a seat and stop being so pressed by every little "wrong move" Gaga makes.

She has already done WWHL and just called into the show last week. She already did GMA, 2x this era and had a video reveal on The Today Show. A full out concert series takes planning, sets and an early morning vocal performance. It would be downright ignorant of Gaga and her team to sign on to that type of commitment during her NY residency. I imagine a concert series is coming up, but that they are waiting until the big ones in the summer! That would make WAY more sense than doing one out in the unpredictable weather, during a down time, and during a big 7 show residency. 40 year olds?! Who do you think is watching those morning shows?! lol A commercial? What does that have to do with promo performances? If you don't like that Gaga is doing this performance (for some weird reason), don't watch it!

If you don't like that Gaga is doing this performance (for some weird reason), don't watch it! Oh...and you can gfy with your little tip! You just spew sh!t back to me while also not knowing what you are talking about. The "concert series" is just a title. The concert is one day, in the morning for about an hour of her time and then they cut it up and play it at different times. She went to GMA in AUGUST. We are in APRIL. She can do it again. WWHL was also done a long time ago and her calling in a few weeks ago is irrelevant. People want to see a live interview from her. We all knew the first one was pre recorded. WWHL gets big numbers when properly promoted. Morning shows have more of a diverse audience, late night shows have married couples, and men that just got home from work. They're there for a laugh, not to buy music. You should really consider learning the art of conversation and throw away your entitled undertones, because my friend, you have no entitlement, it's all in your head
codymonster 8,595
Can ya'll shut the **** up? She's performing on Letterman.
