Little monsters are ruthlessly blind

I'm not trying to defend peoples actions because there's lots of people who are well out of order, but I don't think what you've listed is specific to this fan base, but rather, people in general.

I've had way too many real life bad experiences with Gaga fans that opened my eyes. I didn't expect them to be like this. It's strange and shocking. I'm not saying that all fans are like this, but the majority of them seem to be.

Here's the list of my experiences and what I noticed. They are real life encounters at concerts.

1) Fans are completely oblivious of Gaga's message.

2) Fans are selfish and don't support one another.

3) Fans cheat each other for their own benefit.

4) Fans take advantage of each other.

5) Fans are blindly worshipping without depth..

6) Fans don't really get it.

1. A lot of people just go to listen to the music as a whole, although I have nothing against people who're taller as a whole I will say at a concert it can be a bummer; there's no need to be rude though by any means. Most people (as with religion) take the message as they will and interpret it to be convenient for themselves.

2. Same as before, also concerts as a whole have people like this. You're in a pit, there's going to be people touching you. Get used to it.

3. People can be inherently selfish for their own gain, like stated before this is more of a human trait than being singularly for fans of Gaga.

4. They had little consideration for others, again human trait over just people within the fanbase.

5. Again a concert type thing to happen. Everyone wants to be as close to the stage but doesn't want a single person to touch them in the process of doing so, you're in a small area. If you don't want touched then chill in the back and avoid a pit.

6. They're not at the concert for the opener and in addition I'm sure her performance goes over a lot of peoples heads. That doesn't excuse rudeness but she's not the typical persons cup of tea. As for the second part its concert culture now, people would rather capture the memory to prove they enjoyed it than actually enjoying it within the moment. A picture or video of one songs fine, I'm sure everyone has that moment that means more than others. Its just a bit much when they have it the whole time and obscure the view of others, the paid the ticket price though so if they would rather miss that moment themselves that's their prerogative.

This is defining of the group as a whole nor is it odd of concert culture in the 21st century. I can't tell you how many shows I've gone to with all these issues arising, especially the ones who don't want to be touched but want as close as possible. Just as with life you've got to pick your battles and allow yourself to forget it so you can enjoy the moment you've looked forward to.

In Nashville at the MonsterBall someone pushed me and called me a fat ass, (it was a girl, but she was bigger than me) I knocked her down and she started crying. (We were both 16). My girl friend (I'm gay, but she's my gal pal) who was with me stepped on her and she screamed. If people mess with you, you have every right to defend yourself. Monsters are ****ing terrible people. Look at Marc.

I've been to several Britney concerts and the people there aren't nearly as bad as monsters can be.

And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me!

You can't generalize an entire group of people. Every fan base is gonna have that factor of superficiality I mean after all this is pop music

They've stated "I'm not saying that all fans are like this, but the majority of them seem to be." Sure, that's a generalizing statement, but he's making an observation off of the majority of fans he has encountered at the concerts he's been to. Is making an observation not allowed?

You can't generalize people like this. Even though they identify themselves as Monsters doesn't mean all of them will be the best behaved. Just because some are bad doesn't mean you have to bash all of us!!

OMG! He's not bashing ALL of the fan base. Did you not read this part: "I'm not saying that all fans are like this, but the majority of them seem to be."? My goodness...

I'm just going to say that I agree with this, based off of observations of *SOME* negative, un-accepting and non-tolerant fans on this forum. I've been to a few concerts, and I have to say that the ones I've gone to (all rock concerts), everyone was nice, tolerant and accepting.

But I agree with your statement. A lot of pop music fans that I have encountered, met and experienced (obviously it's not the whole pop music fan base people) are superficial and just follow the newest trend.
