Not that I think she has a lot of filler, but with smaller releases she has less room to include filler and the vision comes across much more pure and potent. Honestly, if Gaga only released EPs I would love it. It would also allow her to expand her musical territory without it being a big, somewhat risky endeavor. As for EP/LP, It depends on how it is marketed as. If she marketed it as a full length and only had 8 songs, a lot of people would have been a little annoyed, also it allowed her to sell it a fairly inexpensive price. It runs over 30 mins and has a strong running concept and theme ergo its an album. 8-10 tracks is considered the minimum number of tracks on an LP as it traditionally fits onto vinyl. No please. The only reason it has such FEW FLAWS is that it's an EP. I LOVE TFM It's an amazing album. For me, THERE IS ONE COMMON FLAW in the majority of songs of TFM - the lack of BRIDGES. "Billboard classifies EP as 4 to 6 songs. However, according to Recording Industry Association of America, an EP is defined as 3-5 songs, whereas a single is allowed to contain up to 4 songs. In the United Kingdom, any record with more than four distinct tracks or with a playing time of more than 25 minutes is classified as an album for sales-chart purposes."
