Z100, KIIS and other radios where she promoted can be blamed, but the rest of the stations not really. Yes, they can most certainly be blamed. Radio stations play songs, they have added, that are in the 400s or even higher all the time. US radio stations play songs everyday, every month, every year that were at the point G.U.Y. was and is at. Spend a few years following all the songs on the CHR top 40 in the US and you will see that they do support songs high up on iTunes on a frequent basis, every week of every year! She won't have a choice and neither will Interscope, not if they ever want radio play again on ANY subsequent single, from this era or the next. It's the way it works! Radio holds all the cards. But it's not a random top 500 song, It's a Lady Gaga song, an artist that went to those radios for some interviews, they should have pushed the song more. All that negativity from the media, the underperformance, negativity in here, the meltdowns, people making 100 threads a day about how ARTPOP is not ART, the doubt to Gaga herself, the blackouts. It is so sad and it is even sadder that the whole project has fallen a lot in my eyes because of all this negativity and I can't help it really anymore.
