Economy 52,503 Posted April 29, 2014 Share Posted April 29, 2014 It's not that people don't like it, they don't even know it's out! that doesnt explain why its AI is so much lower than other songs with the same spins... or why its Itunes is so much lower than songs with same spins also PPL just dont want GAGA right now... she kinda has to stay low key i suppose, trying to force it down the GP throat will just irritate them more and hate her more She can release stuff and whatever success it gets, it gets, anyone that knows about it and likes it can search it up and maybe she can make a few new fans... Now the media put into people's heads that she is a flop and a failure. It was a big radio hit though and it stayed in the top ten for ages. Public opinion on a pop star changes over night. I would wait a bit and then try Gypsy. If that flops take a break and release act 2 or the next album after a while, maybe after the tour even. It takes time for a song to get stuck in the consciousness of the general public.Also, why should the GP buy the song when they already bought the album? Whether or not Guy sells well doesn't impact Gaga's success by one iota. yeah cuz ARTPOP sold so much. There are albums that sold more yet their singles did better. REQUEST IT HERE IN THE USA:http://gagamedia.net/?page_id=14358 IT ONLY TAKES 10 MINUTES AND IF WE ALL WOULD DO IT GUY WOULD BE LIKE DARK HORSE.. yeah cuz ARTPOP sold so much. One has to wonder that if people arent interested in the song (evident from the really low itunes position as well as a really low AI inrelation to spins) that if trying to force radio to play it and shuvving it down peoples throats might not actually do more harm than good because people will just get annoyed... During the BTW era too much promotion actually annoyed people as they kept seeing and hearing Gaga when they didnt want to yes... but putting it in the lead by THAT much makes it really obvious its just us obssessed fans and not what the people think It would be more prudent to have it in the lead but not with such a huge margin I agree about the BTW era...I wasn't a huge fan of Gaga back then and it made me really over her. I think people's mentality after that era has negatively impacted ARTPOP (in hindsight I actually love BTW, my favorite album of hers, and most of the era, just some stuff was so forced). But I think getting G.U.Y. radio play is harmless. Regardless, if G.U.Y. is in the lead, they're going to feel compelled to play it even if it is just because of fan voting.
