Just saw this. If Chesney ends up with another #1 album this week, that will put him in the top 10 artists of all time, with 8 #1 albums.

Guess who has 10 #1s? Barbra Streisand. :) Which puts her in the top 5 and tied with Elvis!

I think think a little bit of payola his label can make it happen for him tbh. :spin:

We could've have been #3 on iTunes right now if that silly soundtrack wasn't discounted. :madge: :madge:

Sales don't change whether you are #3 or #4  :madge:

Crazy. I don't follow country, I pretty much* avoid it, but I'm still aware of the big country artists (many of whom have "crossover" hits), and I never would've thought Chesney was so big. I don't think I know a single song of his.

* I do own albums by Lyle Lovett, the Dixie Chicks, and Mary Chapin-Carpenter. And Jewel, but that was before she went country.

He's kinda like Dave Matthews. Lots of loyal followers, but it's the same people going to concert after concert. Kenny's not even that well liked within country music.

I can't believe a country guy is beating Gaga. I hope the best for my queen, It'd be such a great satisfaction
