And by the looks of it, it'll be yet another 3x platinum from her. And that's barely a flop. Probably a bunch of new releases pushed it down there. But as I've said, I didn't anticipate it'd be this fast nor would it drop more than 100 spots. izlazaz 0 Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 I think even with a slight boost from Letterman we have to accept that G.U.Y. is not going to advance the ARTPOP era in any significant way re charts and album sales. Even when the radio add date is reached (April 8th) I doubt that it will be played much. There just is not enough buzz around that song for radio to bother. But that is not to say ARTPOP is a flop. Far from it. Worldwide sales are excellent. The tour is selling well and new dates will continue to be added. I love that Gaga is pacing herself realistically for these Roseland shows, and hope she continues doing that for the tour. I don't want her to exhaust herself. I hope she strips some songs back, doesn't push herself too hard with choreoography, and just has a ball performing! It is what she loves best!
