So much potential. Sigh. Another video with 10 videos in it. I was hoping this time Lady G will stay out of the directing chair and the editing room, but no. Swim Deep 0 Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 I saw an interp on tumblr that suggested that they represent the shallow, fake, talentless artists in the music industry/ people who haven't really done anything to be famous i.e. Reality show stars whilst Gaga is away rebirthing and hence why the lip syncing is a little off and one or two of them are holding their instruments the wrong way but that sounds a little too mean for Gaga to involve them putting that symbolism on them. Venus is not on the same level as those songs... I agree with the OP, the cut between Venus and G.U.Y is very jarring, but I love the video on the whole. The housewives are one of my favourite bits! The only other thing that bothers me is that weird cut edit in MANiCURE during the credits. I'm pretty sure it was there to make it fit with the entirety of the credits, but surely they could have found another way. Other than that, the video was beautiful and amazing.
