i'm actually really surprised at the judgmental responses on this thread, considering that Gaga is a total stoner.

I don't smoke pot anymore. but i have no problem with people smoking it.

i was a major stoner from the time i was 19 - 24... ganja is good medicine.

enjoy your smoke!

marijuana is not addictive, not dangerous to your health, impossible to overdose on, and is even used to derive medicines from it.

there is not a single existing medical report in the extensive history of mankind that directly attributes the death of a human being to the ingestion of marijuana.

xo

yeah. Cannabis is turning into a major medicine for dealing with cancer & tumors. Cannabinoid Oil (CBD) is something to look into for those who aren't aware, it has major medicinal properties for reversing tumor growth.

i don't think ganja is addictive, but it is definitely easy to become dependent on it.

but indeed infinitely less dangerous than any other d--g, including nicotine, tobacco & alcohol.

yes exactly!

like you wont get withdrawal symptoms and die from a "marijuana addiction," but yes you can totally begin to use it for the wrong reasons and self-medicate with it. but that can be remedied more easily than somebody who is physically addicted to and will start to die if they stop introducing heroin/alcohol into their systems.

not condoning d--g use, just trying to change people's misconceptions of marijuana one sequin at a time

a lot of people who are anti-marijuana drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes and that just makes me laugh. they are both so much more harmful.

you can self-medicate with anything by over indulging and using beyond what's really healthy. doesn't matter if it's marijuana, alcohol, tv or internet use.

based on personal experience, i would agree that marijuana is definitely not prone to causing a physical addiction like alcohol, c-----e, meth or heroin. i never once felt some kind of compulsive physical need to smoke pot. and it was pretty easy to let go of.. it's just something your body becomes conditioned to...

personally, i've tended towards not developing addictions with substances, but i have gone through phases of over indulging for periods of time, and eventually backing off and slowly removing those substances. at this point, i don't drink alcohol hardly ever, i almost never smoke pot, i haven't done any other psychedelics in years and i never do other d--gs. i don't even smoke tobacco anymore. i'm pretty much completely sober all the time.

but when it comes down to it, i'd say marijuana is the best, most beneficial and safest "d--g" around. it's highly supportive of developing creativity, healing your body, etc... thus i completely support marijuana legalization & medical marijuana research.
