Mounting is the position used to penetrate from behind but it's usually used when speaking about animals and breeding, so it's considered pretty kinky to use it when speaking about people. I don't personally think it's offensive at all, it's less blatantly explicit than half the stuff on the radio. I thought it was a clever, Gaga way of being dirty. Mars is the planet associated with masculinity and male s-xuality (and Mars is also the Roman name for the Greek god Ares, the god of war - Mars also had a s-xual relationship with Aphrodite whose Roman name is Venus), so it "ramming into the atmosphere" implies penetration.
