Brooklyn nights made me very nostalgic for old gaga too, I remember listening to Dance in the Dark, Alejandro on sunny spring mornings and that kind of music created an insane atmosphere. It definitely feels that Brooklyn nights should have been part of Fame or Fame Monster. I know that this is not going to happen, but I'd really like to see gaga get to this kind of music, because she is majestic in it. But again, it's just us, fans who want that - I guess she doesn't feel like creating this kind of music anymore. The chorus is very melancholic, the production is big and yet simple (I think Madeon produced it), and Gaga's vocals sound very "The Fame". Also, the lyrics are simple and effective.
