chiuga 1,970 Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 stop thinking in one-dimension. it doesn't necessarily mean she doesn't like the song...... another reason could be she doesn't find the song appropriate for this show in particular (especially when SXSW hasn't usually been frequented with pop fans) but she's forced by whoever told her to to perform it. I was so upset/sad when she said that. i totally agree with the OP, like does she think shes "too cool" to be a pop singer? shes where she is because of pop music and because of her fans, who are (for the most part) pop music fans. i dont give a **** about her vocals and her messy performances, wht made me upset was her attitude. Im a fan of hers and i will never leave her, but shes been such a turn off. She used to be one of the main reasons reasons my life had a bit of excitement. but now i feel like we dont ever get something to look forward to. I'm presuming it has something to do with her current distain for the 'corporative pop world' telling her what to do? Interesting that she didn't say the same that about BR though. However I guess she did do a very different, albeit interesting and enjoyable, performance of Bad Romance so it wasn't really the same feeling? Eh, I wouldn't dwell on it too much. ARTPOP isn't some underground album though, she's one of the biggest recording artists alive. The audience were singing along to every song from ARTPOP.
