Huh. This performance is really proving to be quite polarizing within the fanbase.

Personally, I feel like that was the most human, raw and inspired performance I've ever seen her give...probably ever. She moved me to tears at several points, made me uncomfortable, made me want to party and filled me with joy. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Just interesting to see how viewpoints differ.

blahblahblahhhh

She already did it and it was an obvious cry for attention imo.

Well, of course it was.

If she didn't want attention she would still be singing in her bedroom.

I mean, Gaga seeking attention is pretty much the Gaga we have always known, no?

'cause in the beginning she was created and manipulated by her team. Now she's being herself and it's ugly. I want Dada back.

If this is about the puke thing - she already did that years ago for The Monster Ball. So if anything she hasn't changed much at all in my eyes...

It is about the puke thing. It' sad this is the only thing people took away from the show!

I honestly believe the Gaga a lot of us grew to know and love after all these years was sort of to appease people. She was theatre. Her life was theatre. And now she's angry. She had gotten everything she thought she ever wanted, and now realizing that staying true to who you are is honestly way more important. Might be a bit of a reach, I know, but I really took that away from the SXSW performance. It was a giant middle finger to everything that brought her up/down all at once.

I agree with how she was on Jimmy Kimmel, but I think she was being her real self on stage (albeit drunk).

hmm i think she did when her and lady starlight started out. and ya she was being raped and used when she got famous which is what swine is about. id prefer her being herself rather than a machine of what other ppl want her to be. i think tonight she just rebelled and was herself and i honestly LOVED it lol so idc what anyone says it wont change my mind

They say that change is for the better, but not in this case. I have so many emotions towards Gaga and the whole ARTPOP mess that if I get into it, I don't know where to start. Gaga looked disgusting tonight. Her performance felt the same as every other festival that she has played.

And the first time wasn't a cry for attention? She has always performed for attention. We all know that.
