Wow this was really interesting to read. The Gypsy and Sexxx Dreams praise for next single isnt surprising. The "meh" response towards GUY is how i feel too so i understand that. Anyways i loved this haha

Thank you for your post, this was really interesting  :applause:

I thought G.U.Y. would be a little bit higher, ARTPOP also.

I think Venus isn't a 1st listen hit unfortunately... Maybe too much things, too much of "Gaga" in a few minutes for a 1st listen.

Gypsy has to be a single at one time  ;)

When it comes down to pure honestly and critique, these results are pretty close to what I think of the album.  Donatella and Fashion! to me are the lowest points of the album.  Same as your results.  Sexxx Dreams and Gypsy are two of my favorites.  I can also understand the critiques for ARTPOP(song).  People not understanding the lyrics reminds me of my creative writing class that I'm taking.  Generally people won't like a certain poem just because the words are so foreign.  I however love ARTPOP(song).

This album is definitely experimental in my mind and in no way mainstream pop.  The only downfall with the album, imo, is that people may still not understand the true identity of it.  It's trying to be a concept album without the concept.  Whether Gaga is singing about Venus, s-x, MJ, applause, swine, or fashion, it just doesn't seem so cohesive as it is presented.  But what makes a good album?  It's definitely a debatable subject, but I think it comes down to making the listening satisfied.  A theme or some type of sound is represented throughout.  Almost like a movie in a way.  For example, that's why Adele's 21 was so popular.  That album talked about one thing yet all the songs displayed a completely different view from it.  I still love ARTPOP though.  Even if it doesn't give others the joy it gives me.

I don't understand why everyone was so confused about the song ARTPOP?

Maybe people just don't like to think sometimes, unless everything is laid down in front of them and labeled...

To those confused about ARTPOP: Many people did enjoy the song. They rated it low because it had a few shortcomings. First was its name. They thought it was too pretentious and just too random. A lot of people said it seems like Gaga took a whole bunch of ideas, threw them all together, and called it art. There were a few people because of the LYLAS similarities. Some people didn't understand the lyrics. Some people said it was a "buzzkill".
