Born This Way era was AMAZING.

I always said people would miss the EPIC amount of promo and Gaga's passion during that era.

Enjoy your "GP-friendly EDM infused" ARTPOP era, b---hes. You deserve it after all the whining.

I also don't understand why people here keep saying that this album was something we kept asking for so Gaga would be GP friendly.

The majority of the people here like Gaga's darker music and imagery.

I don't remember a ton of people saying she had to do EDM for GP approval.

I like BTW album, there were times that I loved it, but I simply cannot ignore the fact that it alienated her from the GP and ARTPOP that is a much better album cannot shine because of it...

An amazing era and by far my favourite. The lyrics, the production, the vocals, the fashion, the message, everything was just :legend:

To be honest, if anything, now the BTW era looks like a well-promoted, themed and a wonderful era. But to be honest, I loved the BTW era back in the day nevertheless, so I didn't give a **** about such comments in the first place, but yes, the nostalgia's strong for this one... Yup, I even loved it despite the horrible outfits she wore - at least they were matching each other... :flutter:

Horrible?  :what:

BTW, in my opinion, is the BEST fashion from her to date.

Mugler, McQueen, Hussein Chalayan- she was giving me Heavy Metal, avant garde realness  :ARTPOP:

Well, maybe not her outfits, but her plain looks in general. The only time she looked fantastic was during the Mugler show, but that was it.

But, I mean...

I think what I realized was how much substance it was. But, the era itself was entirely different than this one. It's hard to compare. As another member said, it almost feels like how BTW "flopped" to the GP is semi why this album didn't get the proper promo and such. She was still working with a lot of the same people she is now, and I feel like that's part of the problem with both albums eras.

Comparing it to ARTPOP era, it's like the time when we were among gods :toofunny:

But now we're among the goddess of love :derpga:

Born This Way will always have a special place in my heart. I never understood the bashing of it on here, but I knew that some of it was warranted. I do think the album sounded fuller and meatier, but perhaps that's due to the overproduction a lot of us pointed out. I always liked the idea of Gaga purposely making the album sound that way. But I knew the era would have its consequences; I just didn't know they'd carry out three years later.

Yup I look back at the BTW era fondly now. It actually wasn't as bad as we thought tbh.

I hope this is exactly what people admit when the ARTPOP Era is over.

We all were freaking out when BTW happened, but Gaga enjoyed every decision she made.

It was the Era that made me realize that she was going to do what she wanted, even if the fans didn't want it, which I am okay with now.

BTW era was flawless. It was so chaotic, but she was everywhere. She was an icon. As soon as she went away (and not her fault) she kinda lost momentum.

Not being able to tour the US was the most detrimental thing to her career. The US leg should have been before the South American one tbh. And I would've preferred her ****ing up her hip during the SA leg, only because that region isn't loyal fanbase wise outside of Brazil.

And she should have had a 6th single, preferably Scheisse around the time of her perfume. It would've given her more hype for the tour and ended things better.
