  1. 1. Do you think it's offensive and defiles the grave?

I don't see the problem... :ohwell: He definitely inspired the record and I don't think puttin the album on the grave did any harm... but of course there will always be some overreacting people who blow everything out of proportion.

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

Well, it's a weird thing to do but I don't think it's disrespectful. In fact Andy Warhol would probably love Gaga and the concept of ARTPOP so I'm sure he appreciates it.

I feel like this is more of a compliment to his legacy than anything else. Years after he's passed away, his work inspired a pop star to think outside the box and create something she's passionate about.

I see why people would find it disrespectful though, and if it were any other pop album I'd agree, but this is really a testament to how relevant his work remains.

It's not offensive. They did not engrave the word ARTPOP on the grave or anything. This album was inspired by him in many ways and it's a reminder of his legacy. calm down

Geez y'all say "desperate" as if GaGa herself put that there :smh:

Y'all are ridiculous

Besides, Warhol has obviously been a strong influence on her career, especially this album. Seems like a homage to me, no disrespect really...

I don't really understand how it's disrespectful :awkney: If someone is inspired by me one day and their work is put on my grave, I wouldn't want people to start fighting about it :wtf: But if that ARTPOP copy is put there to bring out Gaga and not because of Warhol, I find it pretty disrespectful. That's not the right place to promote Gaga's stuff.

It depends on what the intention/motive was, but it's perfectly removable and is still there so..

If it was someone elses grave, ya'll would be saying 'omg slay, slay ha so hard, ARTPOP slayin the dead, when will ur fave'. But now it's a huge disrespect. How? It's just an album. A person can go there and simply remove it with his hands. Geez.
