MJHolland 12,725
That's alright... because she is rich as piss I think the point of the lyric is to tell the people who don't believe in her or support her to "piss off" because she doesn't need them in her life cuz she's doing just fine! Not saying that Gaga's parents don't support her, but just as more of a general thing like when parents try to micro-magange their kids' lives (like we already know her mom hates when she cusses) And also sort of like a self-empowering lyric too, such as Beyonce's "bow down b****s" lyric thats repeats in her song Flawless, even though it is a song about being a feminist. She put it in there because it gives her confidence to be unapologetic, even though she got a lot of heat initially. I don't think either deserve "cringing"
MJHolland 12,725
No, I think it's satirical, I mean, a song about recovering from d--gs addiction and forgiveness it's the next one on the tracklist so.... This! Despite the easy-to-make initial interpretation of the song, it's actually about becoming whoever you want to become, even if it is just for a night. It was inspired by her alter-ego in Holland where she dyed her hair and went out and no one recognized her. Also, she stated many times that she did d--gs almost exclusively because they made her forget she was famous.

Battle 4 Ur Life 6,630
Yes...I thought about this also but I came to the conclusion that it's not...I find it punk! imo It's the "careless and immature" side of the record she talked about...I find it artistic in a certain way...it's got some aesthetics to it ”I’m falling over in my 9 inch heels”

Merryem 233
It's disrespectful to the listener because it's so badly written. Literally the most cringe worthy lyric she ever wrote and so out of place on the song. It really ruins MJH for me. it's my absolute favorite lyric by her ever LOL i even thought about having it tattooed even tho im dirt poor

VforVendetta 2,024
Oh, I didn't take these lines that way. You read it as "I don't care what my parents say 'cause I'm rich", an I read it as "I don't care that I'm a mess 'cause I'm rich". So no, I've never found it disrespectful.This.
