Ascetic 0
Jay-Z founded Roc-A-Fella Records. If you think about it, it would make sense for her. She's definitely got the money to do so. The employees are there too. You've got members of the Haus, as well as the producers she's working with. She can afford the building and it's equipment. By doing so, she would have complete creative design over all aspects of her music and be free to make what she wants. The only thing she would have to keep track of is her team and work out a promo schedule that is solidified, thus resulting in few issues with changing singles/etc.

Stefani328 321
Explain Gaga needs some type of guidance, she just hasn't been in the music business long enough. Artists that have their own record labels had many years under their belts before doing so.
WheresTheDoggo 11
AP But no. She isn't business-minded. she's a business woman its part of her job on topic: Maybe because she does have several companies under the Lady Gaga name like Haus Of Gaga, Haus Laboratories, TechHaus, Petga, AteMyHeart Inc. If you recearch up these names these are all trademarked companies Gaga owns hey I'm Doggo :derpga:
TimisaMonster 31,073
No...she's having a hard enough time just being a part of one, let alone starting an entire business of her own! That takes A LOT of time and commitment that she doesn't really have seeing as her career is still pretty fresh and new. Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Artists that have their own record labels had many years under their belts before doing so. Jay-Z had no experience in the biz and recorded his debut album under the company Clearly I don't mean she jumps ship alone, there's got to be support anchoring her down too
lairofhk 931
I totally would. I feel like if she really is devoted to promoting true artistic freedom, she would do so. Shes complained numerous times about how she feels constrained under a record label. So why not go for it. it would be a very progressive move on her part
