If she chooses to never promote anything again, how does that hurt US? It doesn't, at all. Sure, a video would be nice, but just having the album is already nice, and what kind of ungrateful person complains that they only got 1 slice of cake for dessert? I love the T.V. show Sherlock, but we only get 3 episodes per year (or less). Sure I would love more, but I'm happy for the 3 I got and I don't go around complaining that it could be so much better if they would just release more episodes like other T.V. shows. They do what they can, and it's brilliant. I understand being disappointed that you had hoped for more videos by now, but it is what it is, and I love the Applause video, and I love her live performances, and I can't want to see her at ArtRave! Well, I have to say, at least in my opinion that really hurt us. We call our selves fans, a fan wants to see her idol everywhere, we want gaga to look flaw free, we want Gaga performing in TV Shows and Awards, we want Gaga topping the charts as she did back them, we want Gaga making amazing dance records as she did in the past, don´t we? Not only is nothing happening when we are told things are about to happen for months, but we are also given no reason why they arent happening. Honestly, most of my disappointment doesn't even stem from chart and critical success. It's that week after week i have been waiting for something to happen, something to fanboy about, something I can show my friends and family and be like "LOOK HOW AMAZING SHE IS!" like I used to be able to do. Fans have every right to inquire & speculate as to what's going on with their favorite singer. What's wrong with fans wanting to see more of their favorite pop star? What's wrong with fans wanting more videos or appearances? There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. But what is wrong is, when others constantly bash those who inquire with statements like, "Stop complaining", "Stop whining"...."Go get a life etc." Why? They are on this forum for a reason. They have joined "GAGADAILY" to talk about their favorite pop star. And it is pretty normal. Every fan base does that. When Beyonce wasn't releasing any info about her album for 2 whole years...her whole fan base had gone absolutely crazy with anticipation! Of course none of us want her to put her personal life aside & please us 24/7, but we do want to see her vision for this album come alive. We want to see her flourish! Also, let's not act like everything is fine & dandy, when it isn't. I couldn't less about the sales, but yes, I do care about videos, her performances....and just seeing everything that she had prepared for this album come to fruition. Her fellow pop stars who came out with albums around the same time as her are all doing their thing, releasing videos, performing at shows etc. of course, Monsters want to see Gaga out & about as well. Lastly, if we knew the reason for this "blackout", I'm pretty sure most of us would stop questioning but since we don't, of course curiosity takes the best of us.
