goldenrealm 1,238
As long as she made good music, I wouldn't mind she release album every year
HYPERCRUSH 42
She needs to do something tbh. And I don't think I'll be able to take another ARTPOP-themed album... whatever that means. Just wish she'd be back on track with things. It seems like she is with the extensive filming, but I'll just wait until an announcement of a single and video. But when it comes to a new album, I'd like an EP. Something that is totally different to ARTPOP. I mean the polar opposite. Something fresh and innovative. ahh miguel my love As much as possible, I'd prefer an EP related to ARTPOP over an entire new album in the same way on how TFM served TF back in 2010. First, to maximize whatever she has envisioned with this ARTPOP project (i.e. inclusion of the EP sales towards the studio album). Second, to allow the tour's potential to be maximized as well (an EP release later this year or early next year could likely prolong the tour's duration which would rake additional revenue). Third, to prevent the risk of yet another studio album to be branded as an underperformance if things don't work well. this

monketsharona 84,204
Rihanna is successful with this strategy but I don't think Gaga would Though Gaga should work with Rihanna on a song
GagaDragon 10
I'd rather she wait and release it sometime at the end of this year or start of next.
Tommy Monster 849
ARTPOP is too perfect to go to waste like that

Celina 118
If she can make quality and quantity coexist each time, I'd love more frequent album releases. Who wouldn't? But if she can't preserve the quality while working faster (and there's nothing wrong with that - people work at different paces, and Rome wasn't built in a day ;) ), she should just take her time. I don't think I'd mind if she released the next album as ARTPOP act II though.
freebit 6,240
Rihanna is successful with this strategy but I don't think Gaga would Though Gaga should work with Rihanna on a song I think Rih is successful with it because she works with the right people, and they make sure there's at least a couple of big potential hits even if the rest of the album is meh. Pretty smart formula IMO.
Necca 166
Yes. Or at least new single/singles/ep
high heeled fem 3
No way, she needs to pace herself obvs. Also, if the ARTPOP namesake is in her vision, then let it be.
SummerGirl21 787
Am I the only one here for ARTPOP ACT 2 I'm here for it. She needs to finish her vision. I think Rih is successful with it because she works with the right people, and they make sure there's at least a couple of big potential hits even if the rest of the album is meh. Pretty smart formula IMO. I don't want an album with just a couple of big hits and then a bunch of meh songs. that's a terrible idea.

Michael 533
No. The artRAVE will still be going out at the end of the year. This would muddle eras and she wouldn't be able to promote the album properly. She would better to stick with ARTPOP throughout 2014, release Act 2 this summer. Then another album in 2015.
