The Palestinian people, who are living as citizen in Israel, will not be allowed to see the show in Tel Aviv?!? She would also not bring economy to that country which would also make a difference. If Gaga was to boycott Israel (not just ignoring it but cancel and speak out), the main effect would be pissing off American Jews and mainstream US opinion which supports Israel. Without our believe we have nothing to work and fight for, there is no improvement. We might as well be Katy's plastic bag, drifting in the wind. If this would be something SHE as a HUMAN believes in she should cancel, boycott, speak up or anything she feels she needs to do to make a statement. She's known to be a champion for the ones who are unjustly treated. This is not about islamicists or jews or any religion, who cares what any of them think. If she was touring in one of them countries then i'm sure many people would also speak out. You're punishing a whole country and its citizens because of the government's conflicts in Gaza, her boycotting Israel would ONLY live fans unhappy and disappointed, her going AND speaking about the situation would leave EVERYONE happy and not satisfied. After all, Israel IS a democratic country. They judge Israel and Russia 10x harder because they are Judeo-Christian or white or Western, while dismissing similar criticisms of Islamic countries as "Islamophobia" or "cultural imperialism." When the majority of them don't even acknowledge that Palestine is a state? Just because one pop star doesn't go there, that suddenly causes everyone to gasp in sheer horror because Israel isn't Utopia like people apparently think it is, despite half the global population probably not even knowing what the **** Israel is? If anything it will be at the bottom of the front page on Daily Mail, a couple of Republican morons will comment about how Gaga's a "trashy *****", and people will get on with their lives. No impact could possibly be made from this. P.S. There is no way in hell that even a fraction of the people who hear about Gaga boycotting Israel in her tour will understand the message she's trying to convey. They have all said that israel is in violation of human rights in regard to how they treat Palestinians.
