I love that song, and any gaga stan who is STILL mad about her not performing the new single needs to go focus on their lives rather than what a pop star's performance choices are. Do you like her or not? If you love her, you wouldn't say **** that is mean. If you do support her, you're gonna support her regardless of what the **** she sings. Point Blank. And it's funny the types of people I run into that break out into a song like Venus because they simply like it - when someone asked what it is, it's fun to see how they react when that person reveals it's Gaga because it's almost unknown. I want to go to the San Antonio show, but I also want to go to the Houston show. I just moved here from Chicago - so I really feel like I should go to that show since her BF is there. MAYBE ALL THREE. Who knows at this point. Haha if you wanna go to all 3 act fast! I tried to get $100 San Antonio tickets and there was only about a row of $100 tickets not reserved for Citi Card Members! I feel like artists like Gaga, Beyoncé, when you go to their shows the fans know all the words. I saw Miley the other night and people just knew the singles. That's why I'm happy Gaga's promoted Applause, MANiCURE, Sexxx Dreams, Fashion!, Gypsy, Dope, Venus, Do What U Want, and ARTPOP already. People will have bought the album and their ticket! Dance in the Dark was a tribute to Alexander cuz he died...why would anyone dare be upset over that? However, she still sang Telephone too... When Gaga performed Monster on Oprah, she didn't JUST perform it by itself...she performed Bad Romance along with the songs Speechless was again sang along after she sang Bad Romance at the AMA's too The point here...ARTPOP was just a stand alone performance with no new single... Speechless was performed by itself several times. Actually Telephone was the tribute and Dance In The Dark was the main focus of the performance. Bad Romance was already a successful single and the main focus of the performance was Monster. The very word promotion means you'd prefer for her to market and sell her product instead of just listening to her creative instinct. If you didn't care about sales, you wouldn't have given a **** that she didn't perform G.U.Y. She could be singing in clubs, festivals, radio stations... but she only performs at big shows. She used to make a lot of that when she wasn't so famous. After Applause everything turned out into a odd era. she has been planning that huge project and a world tour. How can you say she is not doing anything related to her art? Both of the songs tbh were a tribute...Gaga changed Telephone lyrics and DITD was a contributing lyrical tribute...just cuz she performed it doesn't mean she was "promoting" it... Plz...Monster was not the main focus of the performance...it was a medley of many songs and I doubt people remember it for Monster Gaga does it all...promoting singles is part of it...why do people get so defensive like it's a bad thing to promote your single as a POP STAR? People saying "I don't care about the charts" or "You're all about marketing her product and not in it for the music" are NOT better or higher forms of fans, cuz they feel that way...
